I got a dog, fell in love, got a second dog, then a third, then a fourth.
Decided after the second dog that I wanted some fun dog collars in super fun prints. I loved to sew and I loved fabric so I put it all together.

Gone Doggie was created in 2007, prior to that I was making collars for friends and local shelters and animal rescue groups. I finally decided that I loved it so much that I opened an Etsy shop. From Etsy I rented a booth in a local artisan store where people can go and feel and touch the quality of my collars.

I am a dog mom, I have been a foster mom and a foster failure. My heart has been broken many times with the loss of each dog that I have had, some young, some old, but they all hurt the same.

I do work with many local animal advocate organizations who benefit from in kind and monetary donations from Gone Doggie. My love for the four legged furry kind goes way beyond my collar business.

When I am not sewing I am at work at our local law enforcement agency. My second love, our boys & girls in blue. I spend each day with amazing men & women who are moms and dads and dog lovers... Be thankful for those who put their lives in harms way everyday to protect us.
