Gone Rustic Studio + Gallery
Welcome!
Our business is based in a converted garage / service station in St Marys, Tasmania, Australia.
My husband Ian renovated the building into a studio and gallery in his spare time.
This is where I make, display and sell my own work (as well as other people’s quality handmade items), teach classes and host exhibitions of local artisans and travelling displays.
I also create art at home, especially eco dyeing/printing and handstitching..
As well as doing my own stuff, I organise workshops with guest tutors at our studio and gallery, and showcase artwork by other artists and artisans.
I enjoy putting my creations “out there” as exhibition entries and on the net.
Often there is a hidden as well as an obvious message in my work.
I also love collecting, and feature vintage and retro items in my gallery and my home.
