Very nice quality for the price. Also, the seller was extremely responsive and quick to provide a very satisfactory solution to a minor problem with the order. I would not hesitate to purchase from this shop again!

Beautiful little box, and very well priced. Shipped promptly, and was carefully packed.

About

i love clay!

in fact, i love the entire ceramics process.

i’m very interested in the japanese concept of wabi sabi. this aesthetic is sometimes described as one of beauty that is imperfect, impermanent and incomplete. i’m attracted to awkward lines, bold gestures, primitive marks and secret iconographies.

all items in gone to pot are made from porcelain. the pieces are handbuilt, extruded or cast, or a combination of the three processes, fired to cone 6 (about 2200 degrees F). decorating techniques include silk screening, stamping, scrafitto, painting and drawing with underglazes and underglaze pencils, overglaze decals and 22k gold overglaze lusters.

all glazes are lead-free and food-safe. however, items featuring gold luster cannot be used in the microwave. please hand wash purchased pieces to get the most from your ceramic ware.

listed shipping costs are for items sent within the u.s.
if you are an international customer, convo me and i'll get back to you with shipping charges.

you can also find my work at the following shops and galleries:
*paperish mess, chicago, illinois
*quench, belfast, maine
*art connections, bastrop, texas
*pearl + wire, bakersfield, california
*american museum of ceramic art (amoca), pomona, california
* queue, kamakura, japan
