About

Spinning on the farm.

My story all began when I learned how to spin 20 years ago. We started with a small back yard farm when we were homeschooling our 4 children. From there we were hooked. My girls learned how to spin and weave and are now very accomplished knitters. My son shears sheep on the side. I've been breeding over the years for fine, soft fiber for the hand spinner and weaver. We moved from Pennsylvania to MO, 5 1/2 years ago and now have a 60 acre farm with more sheep and more work, but I'm loving every minute of it. Every day the Good Lord gives me I'll be creating something. I especially love lambing season and watching all the new lambs with their mothers ewes. My life seems to revolve around the seasons with my sheep and I still look forward every day to seeing them out in pasture.
