Hat appears to be well crafted; however, I the material has zero give or stretch. I purchased based on the measurements provided, and the hat will not fit my 5 week old baby.

A small business with a REpurpose
GOOT focuses on the ‘reuse’ leg of the Green triangle (reduce, reuse, recycle); turning old clothes and goods into handcrafted clothes, accessories, gifts and household items. As owner/artisan Courtney Elder says; “It’s a GOOT thing.”
Courtney, a musician and Music Therapist/Owner of a private music therapy practice in the Capital District, created the GOOT brand in 2007 primarily as a fun way to add personality to the gifts, cards and baked goods she frequently created for family and friends. Her specialty was the repurposing of old clothes and fabric into new fashions. As word spread and demand grew, she established GOOT as a business in early 2011.
Each GOOT product is handcrafted from upcycled items in need of new life, and dubbed with playful titles like; “This Skirt Was His Shirt” or “One Girl’s Curtain is Another Girl’s Clutch”. Even the string for tags and packing materials are reused goods more often than not. Raw materials are found in the collections of Courtney’s friends and family, thrift stores and flea markets, and her husband’s ever-dwindling clothes closet. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, and special orders are the order of the day for GOOT fans.
