I ordered a set of custom leather/suede clutches for my bridesmaids, and they are gorgeous...my only regret is not buying one for myself. I highly recommend Grace Design!

About

Storytelling Through Textiles

When I was young I saw a woman selling dresses made from Indian sari silks at a market in my hometown in the Pacific Northwest. I thought this fabric was one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen and it conjured in my mind some pretty fantastic images of palaces and maharaj, smoky winding markets, exotic scents and haunting music that stayed with me for a long time. Then and there I pledged to myself that when I was old enough, I would travel to India. A few years later, I did and later returned to Canada with a backpack full of sari silk. I promptly started sewing clothing, pillows and bags and selling them in local consignment shops and markets. Since that time I have continued to search far and wide in search of beautiful and unique materials to use in my designs, from Jaipur to Tokyo, Marrakech to Oaxaca.

Grace is a collection of accessories made from found, limited edition textiles and one-of-a-kind embellishments that have been sourced through my travels. The fabrics I seek are storytellers, they speak of their history and traditions of craft, of adventures abroad, foreign marketplaces, heritage and imagination. My work is rooted in a core ethos that values the preservation and diversity of culture and creativity and thus, it is with reverence and respect for these cultures and their traditions that I sample from such a diverse array of textiles from around the world.

Every GRACE product is made by hand in Toronto, Canada.

My work has been featured seen in many publications including The Huffington Post, MSN, Oh Joy, CBC, Global TV, The Toronto Star, Miss Moss, Creature Comforts and Canada's Financial Post. In 2013 I was selected by Toronto Life magazine as a Toronto designer to watch out for and in 2012 I was chosen by Etsy to be a featured artist at their first ever pop up event in New York City. Cancellations will only be accepted up to 48 hours after you place your order. Once production has begun on your order it will be treated as a purchased item and deemed exchangeable only. Discounted and sale items are final sale.

Custom or special orders are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. This includes large quantity bridal orders.

Our bags are guaranteed against breakage or defects for three months from time of purchase. Returns on defective items will be judged on a per case basis.
Additional policies and FAQs
As the fabrics we work with are often vintage, gently used and imported from faraway places, from time to time small defects sometimes do appear. Small pin marks, pilling, deterioration and age spots are a reality when working with vintage textiles and something you should be aware of when you place your order. While we try to avoid this, it is our belief that the beauty and one of a kind quality in these fabrics far outweighs these discrepancies.

As noted in most descriptions, your bag may look slightly different from the photo. Each piece is truly one of a kind - the placement of the pattern varies from item to item and usually will not look exactly like the photo.
