Sewing is something I learned to do at a very young age thanks to my mother who sewed everything from our nifty little lace trim dresses to quilts. She was clever and knew how to make anything using a sewing machine and her hands. I wanted to be her when I grew up, so I never stopped sewing and being crafty. I am so thankful that God has given me this artistic and creative vision.

I love using new, used and vintage fabrics, yarns, wood, beads and trim. I’m always exploring new ways to use fabric unconventionally; which is why I constantly sketch out ideas that eventually evolve into a future design. Originality takes time; yet patience and the urge to be unique helps to keep me uniform to my effortless aesthetic. The one-of-a-kind dolls have become my newest and most exciting obsession.

I am so happy to be here as both a seller and buyer in the Etsy community; sharing this wonderful shopping experience with other talented and creative minds. It keeps me inspired and dedicated to share my handmade products with everyone around the world.

Etsy Shop:
We accept the following forms of payments through our etsy shop with Direct Check out; Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Etsy Gift Cards

We also give you an option to pay using your PayPal account; please note that you do not have to have an account with PayPal to checkout. When prompted at checkout, choose the option to pay as a guest using your credit or debit card.

The shopping cart on grace & helene’s website page only accepts payments through PayPal at this time. Please note that you do not have to create an account with PayPal to checkout; just choose the option to pay as a guest with your credit or debit card.

Coupon Codes:
It is the customer’s responsibility to enter any available coupon codes at the time of purchase to receive the current discount, if any.

If you decide that you would like to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible at helen [!at] and we will be happy to refund your order. Cancellations MUST be made within 24 hours of purchase, after which time we have likely packaged and begun the shipping process. If this is the case we will instruct you on the return process and a restocking fee may incur.

Shipping Time:
Orders will ship within 24 hours of payment receipt, unless it is a custom order, in which case may require 4 or more weeks for completion. Please note that we do not ship on Sundays or Holidays.

Type of Shipping Service:
We ship orders via USPS first-class domestic and international. If you prefer to have your order shipped via another courier, please contact us at helen [!at] and we will email you a quote for that courier cost.

All shipments are insured and ships via registered mail with tracking because our products are 100% handmade from the heart and we want you to receive them in excellent condition.

Unclaimed Shipment Issue:
To avoid your shipment being returned to grace & helene; please contact your local post office, give them the shipping confirmation number on the pink card that your carrier leaves for you and set up a re-delivery from your local post office. You can also call USPS at 1-800-ASK-USPS.

USPS allows you 15-days from the date of the first “attempt to deliver” to pick-up the shipment at their facility before they return the shipment to the original sender. If the order is returned to grace & helene, we will notify you and hold it until you contact me to request re-shipment. If we need to re-ship the package, please note that you will be responsible for the additional shipping costs.

Refund for Unclaimed Shipment:
If you request a refund or if you fail to contact me 5 business days after we inform you that the shipment was returned to grace & helene, we will assume that you forfeit the completion of the transaction. We will issue a refund but you will be subject to a 20% restocking fee which includes seller shop fees and the cost of original shipping.

International Customs:
Please note that you may be subjected to additional fees or costs upon the arrival of your package. These fees or costs are not associated with grace & helene.

Refunds and Exchanges
Refund or Exchange grace period:
Refunds and exchanges require special care; grace & helene expects returned item(s) to be received in their original condition and packaging within 15-days of the original purchase date. Your refund or exchange will not be processed until we have confirmed the item(s) to be in original condition, packaging and it was received within 15 days of the original purchase date.

If you require an exchange, we will promptly replace the item, re-ship the order and notify you with the new tracking information.

Refund Fees:
Refunds are subject to a 20% restocking fee which includes seller shop fees and the cost of original shipping.

Shipment for refund or exchange:
We do not offer free shipping for returned or exchanged products. It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange return shipment; we recommend that the customer uses the confirmation delivery service with their desired courier to track the package. If the item is deemed to be damaged, we will deal with the issue on a case by case basis.

Customer Service Policy:
Complete satisfaction is not only a guarantee, it's Grace Helene policy to always be committed to providing you with an excellent selection of jewelry and accessories. If you do not feel that your purchase has lived up to your expectations, Grace Helene will gladly refund the purchase price. Grace &Helene would love to hear from you if there is a problem with your order or you’d like to just share something sweet.

Product Safety Policy:
It is our obligation to create products that are made from the safest and highest quality materials for the public. If any product receive from us is defective and does not comply within the consumers satisfaction, they are to return the product for a full refund. Please email us at: helen [!at]
Because of the delicacy of grace & helene’s merchandise; We advise you to review the following age guidelines when purchasing products:

• Jewelry + Accessories: Because components or parts from these items can be
easily swallowed or cause suffocation; they are intended only for adults 18+

• Art Dolls: These handmade cloth dolls are constructed around a wire base
which makes them more suitable for collection purposes and not used as a toy.
They are intended for ages 13+

• Home Décor: These items are intended for adults 18+

Custom Order Policy:
A custom order item is made according to the specifications of the buyer and is considered unique or one-of-a-kind.

We would be happy to create a custom order for jewelry and art dolls for our customers under the following conditions:

Pricing Estimates:
Starting prices are based on stocked items, and are listed as a reference only. Custom work will have a higher cost and price will vary depending on style, material and size.

Processing Time:
All custom orders are processed and created in the order it was received. Some items may take longer than others; this will be addressed at the time of customer’s request.

Deposit/Down Payment:
All custom orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit which must be pre-paid and cleared before work is started.

Production and Shipping Time:
Custom order items may require production time in addition to shipping time. You will receive an estimate of both time and cost upon ordering. Custom orders may not be returned unless defective or damaged during shipment. Custom orders are charged upon placement of order.

Once production for your custom order has begun, your order is non-refundable under any reason or circumstance. A 25% cancellation fee will be charged on all canceled custom orders.

Receiving your Shipment:
Grace & Helene take great care in packaging items. Although these items are packaged properly, in some instances transit-related damage may occur. Please inspect your order carefully when it arrives. Should you find that your merchandise is damaged, you may choose to refuse the delivery. Please report any damage to grace & helene at the time of delivery. Grace & Helene is not responsible for ANY courier delays due to catastrophic natural disasters and/or acts of god.

Satisfaction & Returns:
Grace & Helene strives to guarantee your 100% satisfaction with all products. We want you to be satisfied with the value and quality of your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied please contact us. The merchandise must be returned within fifteen (15) business days. Return instructions will vary depending upon the item purchased. Returned items are subject to a 15% restocking and reprocessing fee.

Refusal of Delivery:
If you refuse delivery of the item when it reaches your home or place of business, you will be charged for all shipping costs, including the cost to return the item to grace & helene.

How safe is paying on Etsy and Paypal?
Very safe, both website carts have SSL certificates for payment transactions. (Learn more about SSL certificates here). It helps automatically encrypt your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).

I’m sensitive to metal; will your jewelry be irritating to someone like me?
We cannot guarantee that my jewelry will be 100% skin friendly. As a consumer with sensitive skin, we know how imperative it is when you don’t want to expose your skin to irritants. We will refund the product on a case by case basis.

What if I really want to purchase one of your handmade dolls for my daughter and she is under the age of 13?
We will inform you to read my policies clearly and note that my cloth art dolls are intended for collection purposes only and should not be used or handled as a toy.

I don’t like to shop online; can I pay for my purchase via email or phone?
Unfortunately Etsys guidelines prohibits its sellers to use other forms of payment methods associated with purchases of shop items.

I see that you’re business is local, can I pick up my online order or will you deliver it to me?
Of course, we ask that you purchase the item through our Etsy shop first and send us an email at helen [!at] so we can discuss further.
