Hi, friends!

My name is Kara King, and I am the creator behind Kara Leigh Creates! I honestly cannot remember a time when I didn’t have my hands on some creative endeavor. Whether it was when I was just knee high in the kitchen with my nana making my famous “animal biscuits” (super simple recipe, just mix flour and water ;)), painting and coloring pictures with my dad, or sewing burlap to make pillows for my college dorm room, my heart is always at its happiest when I am creating.

My love for the creative world is still as strong as ever, but as I have gotten older, I now not only have a passion for the crafting world, but I also have a huge heart for hearing the stories of how people are crafted. These two loves are really the inspiration for this little shop.

My own story begins in a small town in South Korea. I was adopted from there and since then have had the opportunity to travel back to my birth country which was the most amazing experience. It was during this trip that I came to appreciate my own story and realized how everyone has a beautiful and special story to share. I am a firm believer that our stories are created and continue because of the Lord’s grace and that every person has a story worth telling. I hope that this little shop of mine can be a small piece in helping you share and remember your own unique story. I look forward to hearing from you so we can get started!
