It all began with a new puppy in our home...........
After having our family dog Cinnamon a Crocker Spaniel for 19 years we had to say good bye to him. I wanted to get a small lap dog to play with and dress up. After searching for the perfect dog we got Gracie a little Shih Tzu.
I was so excited to dress her up but after looking for cute outfits I came home very disappointed at the quality and the price. Little did I know that Gracie’s Paw Prints was about to be born. I started making outfits for her and people were stopping me asking where I got her outfits. After some nudging from my hubby I started my business up. We started with consignments in shops and then opened our own shop for a year. Although it was successful I found I just couldn’t keep up with the demands and that’s when I decided to launch my website and work strictly on that. Much to my surprise we have grown over the last nine years. We also welcomed two more fur babies to our family a Yorkiepoo named Cuddles and he loves to be held and loves to wear clothes. Then we have Roxy who is a mix of chihuahua all three are rescue dogs. UPDATE We had to say goodbye to Gracie and Cuddles this last year that was so hard and I miss them both so much.

UPDATE: We just welcomed our new little fur baby Stella Rose she is a shichon and is 6 months old and we are so in love with her.

I've been sewing and crafting as long as I can remember. When my kids were small I would sew and do craft shows. They grew up sitting in my lap as I would sew and while they slept I was sewing away.

I opened my Etsy shop in November 2009 but really didn’t use it until October 2010 . I was determined to turn this into a full time business. Since that time my business has grown even faster than I ever thought possible. With over 14,000 plus sales and 100% positive feedback from thousands of happy customers, it's my dream business and we have my studio in our home which I love!

I also drive a school bus which is a lot of fun. I love my life. I enjoy cooking and redoing items I find at garage sales. My favorite saying is I can paint that and turn it into….something.

I have a very supportive husband who puts up with me and we have three children. All are grown up and out of the house. We love being empty nesters. My oldest is married and we have two grand babies but will have to travel since they live in CA. We have twins that just turned 30 this year . We have been very blessed with family. I work in my Studio on the main floor. I am still working on getting it all beautiful one step at a time. I have the DREAM STUDIO in my mind and someday it will be there. I have turned our front room and dinning room into my studio space. It really is perfect so I can work at home but walk out and be with my hubby at the end of the day. Then usually back in my studio because really I love what I do and enjoy it so much. I do have a motto....if it's not fun I don't want to do it.

You can also know when you support us you are helping out many rescue and charity groups. I also oversee some volunteer outreach projects. We have sent over 150 Hygiene Kits to Africa and love making small quilts for the hospitals for babies in NIC and bereavement items for families in need.

I love my customers, some have been with me since the beginning. I have become friends with many over the years through our shop. Some have helped us raise money for Charity Wells also.

I look forward to many more years of doing my love business and putting smiles on faces across the country!
