At the age of twelve I stopped saying "I want to be a detective" and started saying "I want to be an artist when I grow up". And by being an artist I meant I had no idea what kind of artist I wanted to be, if a musician, a painter, writer, a dancer or even a sculptor. It was not about what I would do but more of who I would be and how I would lead my life. What I was aiming for was the lifestyle of an artist that I had always associated with freedom and a pragmatic approach to life.


I’ve been pursuing that dream for almost 20 years, reflecting and changing bit by bit the way I eat, the way I consume, how I connect with people around me, and, how I work.


I am and always will be a work in progress. And what I do for a living changes and evolves with me, it’s part of who I am.

The best of it is sitting in my corner and dream of what I’ll do next, the expectation of showing it to someone else for the first time and watch their reaction, but, the real honor is when someone spends their hard earned money to buy something handmade that I created.
I do want to change the world for the better, I know I’m not alone, I’m with all the people who know we must start somewhere, so why not start by working and changing ourselves.
