5 out of 5 starsThis brush has quickly become a staple when I paint. It’s so elegant and practical.
Like I said in another review, I got these on discount as I bought three other items as well. I messaged JaJa of GrandArtSupplies for the discount and received a reply right away.
I live in the Philippines so I had to mail the brushes to a freight shipper (instead of to my mailing address), but they received it after only a few days as promised. The brushes come wrapped in some paper, nothing fancy but it keeps them nice and secure.
This brush holds a lot of paint. Perfect for medium to large paintings. Worth the price. :) -

This brush holds a decent amount of paint, and snaps to a point when wet. It’s nicer than my other non-vintage Grumbacher brushes. I wish I had other brushes that look like this. Worth the price! -

5 out of 5 starsThis order came with two brushes, so I gave one to my mother and she absolutely loves it!

This brush holds a LOT of paint. It’s nicer than my other non-vintage Grumbacher brushes. Definitely worth the price, especially since I got two! -

5 out of 5 starsThis brush is absolutely beautiful. I got it on discount as I bought three other items as well. I messaged JaJa of GrandArtSupplies for the discount and received a reply right away.

The color of the brush is slightly different in natural light compared to the picture, although not so much that I would rate it lower than a five. It’s dry in the picture but snaps to a point when wet. It holds a lot of water/paint.
I think this was the most expensive brush I bought, but in the end it was so worth it. I’m happy I got such a unique brush, just look at it—it’s gorgeous! -

Showcasing Attractive Art Tools on a Grand Scale!
Ever since my first painting class, as a junior in the High School of Art & Design, I've been in love with great art materials. Trips to NYC art stores became expeditions in finding high quality, aesthetically pleasing tools, suitable for the project at hand. I have come to enjoy not only making art, but the excitement of finding and using gorgeous, one-of-a kind materials.
My appreciation for the art tool as a work-of-art, in its own right, has only increased over the years. So now, with the aid of vintage art manufacturer catalogues, and the internet, I research and collect vintage art supplies, with a particular focus on vintage sable watercolor brushes. Personal favorites are brushes produced by Grumbacher, in the 60's and 70's, like the Beaux Arts 190 Finest Sable Brush.
This shop was created for people who enjoy creating art with gorgeous tools. Thanks for browsing my shop today; have a creative day!

I am an artist/illustrator painting primarily in watercolor. One reason I enjoy working in this medium is it's immediacy and versatility. Using well-balanced brushes, containing the finest hair, only heightens my pleasure in the creative process.
