Equine Artist & Original Hand Poured Silicone Molds

Heres a Little bit about me.......Debra Alouise, Equine Artist and horse owner for over 28 years. I am a Mixed media Artist.

My love of horses and dogs inspires my original artwork, business and daily life. Most all the Horses I paint are Horses I know. Each one leaves a Impression I will carry with me for my Whole Life. My Resume Includes, My Original Artwork on the Set of the new NBC Television Show "Save Me" Starring Anne Heche.

"Working Boys" was just Featured in a Nationwide Catalog. Back in the Saddle, a Wonderful Horse Lovers Themed Catalog.

Some of My paintings have been featured in "Horses In Art" Magazine, and you can see, "Major" Disneyland Draft on the tour at the Disneyland Park. You can purchase Giclee Fine Art prints of "Major" along with Original Oils here on etsy, direct from me, the Artist.

Juried Gallery Art Show Experience:
"Hiding Bear", "Paws" & "Disapearing Bear" Juried into Southwest Art Show 2013. "Backyard Snowman" Juried into the Southwest Art Show here in San Diego 2011. My "Wild Bunch" Wildlife painting was juried into the Wildlife Show 2009 here in San Diego. Shown in the Gallery November 2nd to December 2nd 2009. Juried Art Show just completed, "Bath Time" Water Luvin Horses, and "Martha Nappin" March 15th 2010. My "Sitting Ducks" was just Juried into the Wildlide Art Show here is San Diego November to December 2nd 2010.These are just some of My Juriied Gallery Art Show paintings.

I am the designer of the Original Pony Pillows, which are featured in magazines and are in the hands of celebrities and shipped throughout the world.

My honest and proudest accomplishment is one of my web sites which celebrates and honors the special relationships of others and their older horses.

I also needle felt wool pets, a sculpting technique, where wool is used to make a soft 3D sculpture. I have Sculpted the "Worlds Most Famous" Goldendoodle, "Teddy Hilton. And Some Wonderful pups for Robin T.

I love hand mixing oils and placing them where they need to be and also feel right, to make each subject come to life. My walls are also filled with my art as it is difficult for me to let them go! When I hear your feedback after the painting arrives It makes me smile and Love painting even more........

I am a self taught, humble artist, meaning, I walk away from my artwork and when I turn around and look at it, I sometimes can't believe I painted that. Its proof and why I know each person has talents and desires that come from deep within ourselves.

Many Soft Nickers,

"My treasures do not clink together or glitter...
...they gleam in the sun & neigh in the night"

Feel free to email or call with any questions regarding my silicone molds. My original designs will add artistry with original hand-sculpted designs for unique and profitable items to offer your customers. I do make Custom orders, and am Happy to do so and meet your needs. Silicone is a very expensive base material, so it is my policy that you follow thru on Your Custom order. My business can not withstand customers not following thru with their own agreements. I will cancel any transaction that does not follow thru and can not work in the future with these types of customer transactions. It is simply to costly. I apologize if this is any inconvenience it may cause, this is my lively hood and I would also like to continue to make High Quality items for everyone. I have numerous repeat customers, showing I deliver not only quality, but courteous service to each and every person. I know your molds are the tools you need to make money in your own business and are an investment. My goal, as a soap maker, myself, is to design original products, you can make, that your customers will love. Since You can maximize your profits while giving your customers a fair price.

Unique artistry and the originality to each design ensures you can get the best price for each soap or candle you make. As they add art to your customers home decor. I enjoy my work and am in this for the long run. I have been making silicone molds since 2000.

I never use thinners. My mold making technique eliminates the excess air from the silicone, which delivers a superior product. Not only a soft and flexible mold but stronger and longer lasting mold. Each mold is personally hand poured, designed and created. They are made here in San Diego, California.

Additional policies and FAQs

There are three ways to wick a candle silicone mold:
Wick Centering Device ~ No hole is needed in your mold.
For small candles (such as floaters) you can wick the candle after it has been taken from the mold. Using a hot round object – such as a wick pin, nail, or knitting needle – creates the hole for your wick. Be careful on this procedure as the hot object can cause you injury if you are not careful.
Insert a small sharp object directly through the bottom of the mold (from the inside of the mold to be sure the hole is centered). Some people use wick pins, nails, or knitting needles — anything that is small and sharp will usually do the trick. Silicone is a tight rubber and the small hole (if round) will usually seal itself without leaking wax. DON’T use a knife, it is flat (not round) and can start a tear in the silicone. Which over time, could be enlarged with use and leak wax.

Once the hole is made, you can use:
A wick pin ans then thread your wick through the mold.
You can use upholstery needles (they are sharp and have large eyes) or some people use a small household wire, bent in half.

Thread your wick in the instrument and pull through the hole in the bottom of the mold. The silicone will close tightly around the hole of the wick so you should not have any leaking of wax. Leave a wick tail extending beyond the outer shell of the mold. Attach a wick bar to the wick and place the bar on top of the mold. (Be sure it is centered and pulled tight to hold the wick centered.) Once your candle is dry, remove from the mold, pulling the excess wick through the hole in the mold and cut the trailing wick.

NOTE: If you are making a number of these candles, leave the wick trailing in the mold (already through the hole in the mold) it will save you from having to do this process all over again.

I hope I have answered all of your questions here. If not please feel free to email me anytime.
