Welcome!
Hello! I’m Kristin, the owner and maker here at Grandma’s Chalkboard. Everything you see here has been thoughtfully created to bring a little bit of happiness to your day.
I started Grandma’s Chalkboard almost a decade ago, selling in a small local boutique. Grandma’s Chalkboard has since grown into an online retail space that allows me to share my love of creating fun and functional accessories with buyers from around the world.
So why the name ‘Grandma’s Chalkboard’? My Grandma Nora had a chalkboard that hung on the wall between her kitchen and dining room. Whenever we had the chance to visit her home, my siblings and I happily drew on that chalkboard. We knew not to erase the important telephone numbers or scripture verses that were scrawled around the edges of the chalkboard, but the middle of the board remained for the showcasing of grandchildren’s masterpieces. Just like the chalkboard was our place to create as children, Grandma’s Chalkboard has become my very own creative space, where attention to sewing high quality pieces and offering the best customer service is key.

Custom orders are returnable if the item is not personalized. Personalized items are not returnable.

Utah Sales tax will be applied to in-state orders. Sales tax will also be collected for states that collect tax on all online purchases.
Shipping
Please note that the USPS does not pick up or deliver mail on Federal holidays. Orders scheduled to ship on a Federal holiday will be shipped the next business day.
I cannot guarantee delivered by dates. If you need your order rushed, please contact me for details.

Q: Do you do custom work?
A: Yes! Feel free to contact me about custom orders. I answer emails as promptly as possible because waiting is no fun!
Q: Do you sell your items in other quantities than what is listed?
A: Yes. If you need a different amount than what is shown, please contact me.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Grandma's Chalkboard currently ships within the United States, as well as Canada and Australia. If you are an international buyer, please familiarize yourself with any customs fees you may be charged for international orders. Customs fees are not the responsibility of the seller.
Q: What is the turn-around time for your items?
A: Most of my handmade items are made and ready to ship in 3 business days or less. If you order a large quantity, your order may take a few days longer.
Q: Can you guarantee a delivery date for your items?
A: Due to circumstances out of my control, I can not guarantee delivered by dates. If you need your order shipped quickly, feel free to contact me for options.
Q: What should I do if my package shows it was delivered, but I haven't received it?
A: The USPS is the party responsible for accurately delivering your mail. Please contact your local post office regarding your package if it was marked as delivered. They will need the tracking number for the package.
Q: Is gift wrapping available?
A: At this time, gift wrapping is not offered. However, each order is sent in a frosted merchandise bag or clear cellophane bag to protect the order during shipment.
Q: Do you send an invoice/receipt with each order?
A: Yes. I include an invoice with each order to assist buyers in record keeping. If you do not want an invoice included in your order, please leave a note at time of purchase.
