Our style defined

Grateful Gypsy® believes in being free, radical and independent; we believe your style should be too! Our collections encompass pieces that are inspired and inspiring; capturing both the relaxed “living aloha” mindset and the spirit of the 1970s into all of our creations.

We create our handmade, eclectic jewelry with a polished bohemian flare at our in-home studio, with the help of our doggie assistant, Auggie. We pull inspiration from the beach (especially Hawaii!), bellbottoms, Bianca Jagger’s style, bold patterns and bright colors.

Each eclectic creation has been made to accentuate your wanderlust adventures, artistic outfits and unique state of mind. We are dedicated to making fresh pieces with a vintage feel for the everyday girl who is looking for accessories and apparel that she adores and can actually afford.

Custom orders are always accepted and encouraged! Just provide us with an inspiration picture or concept and we can dream up a custom piece designed specifically with your tastes in mind.

Returns and exchange details
★Refund Requests for Domestic Orders -
Unfortunately, any of our apparel or homegood items, sale items, items purchased using a promotional code and custom orders are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

★Items damaged during delivery -
We take pride in our handmade items and want you to feel confident that you will be receiving a quality product. Each item is packaged with special attention and love.

In the case that items within your order were damaged while in transit, you must contact us (pictures are very helpful!) within 3 business days from the order arrival date regarding repair/replacement of items damaged; your order arrival date is the USPS provided delivery date from Delivery Confirmation.

Please be sure use good judgment when using scissors or sharp instruments to open a package containing apparel. Items that incur damage during the opening of package after delivery are NOT the responsibility of the seller.

We accept Direct Checkout through Etsy.

★Sales Tax-
Please note that sales tax for Virginia residents, on all purchases, is 5.3% based on our locality.

★Cancellation Policy-
An order may be cancelled by either the seller or the buyer; an order is not able to be cancelled once a package has been marked as shipped.

Shipping
Shipping fees also include handling fees; these fees cover the cost of postage as well as packaging materials that help your items arrive safely to you - for environmental responsibility we will reuse packaging and shipping materials whenever possible.

The time I need to prepare an order for shipping varies; orders may not be shipped out the same day that they are placed. For specific production details/time, see individual items.

Please be sure to select the shipping method that best meets your delivery needs at checkout; USPS First Class mail typically takes between 3-5 days and USPS Priority Mail has an expected delivery of 1-3 days.

We are unable to guarantee that your order will reach you by a specific date due to any unforeseen USPS delays. We will do everything that we can to insure prompt production, packaging and shipping.

Please verify the destination address is correct at time of checkout, once a package has been marked as shipped, there is no way to change the destination address; we ship to the customer provided Etsy Shipping Address and are not responsible for incorrectly provided addresses or undeliverable packages. If an address change is needed after checkout, before an item is marked as shipped, order will be refunded/canceled for buyer to repurchase and to correct their Etsy Shipping Address at repurchase checkout. Buyer will be responsible for paying new shipping fees for packages returned to seller labeled as undeliverable or unclaimed.

If your package has been returned to us, we will notify you via Etsy conversation; a custom listing/invoice can be created for purchase of new postage or a refund of your purchase price, less original shipping cost, may be issued.

★Domestic Shipping-
Unless shipping upgrade is selected at checkout, most items are shipped USPS First Class and usually arrive in your mailbox 2-7 days after posting. Delivery Confirmation/Track & Confirm is included in the cost of shipping and is automatically added to each domestic package shipped.

★International Shipping-
Due to the USPS modifications of their Priority Mail International services, we are no longer offering International Shipping as of August 28, 2016. We apologize for any disappointment.

*After receiving payment of your custom order, it will take between
7-10 business days to create and complete most designs.

*After receiving your written approval, via Etsy conversation, of the finished design your custom order will be packaged and shipped; your completed custom order will be mailed to the customer provided Etsy Shipping Address.

*Custom orders are not eligible for exchange, return or refund.

*Purchase of a Custom Order listing is acknowledgment that you have read and agreed to Grateful Gypsy's Custom Order policies.

How do apparel sizes run and what size should I order?

Apparel listings contain measurements from the apparel manufacture; we recommend that you compare the apparel manufacture measurements to an item of clothing you already own to get best fit possible. If you have additional fit or sizing questions, we are happy to help and will do what we can to answer your questions. How long until my order has shipped?

The time we need to prepare an order for shipping varies. Our standard processing time, for items that are not listed as made-to-order, is 3-5 days from your order date. Orders may not be shipped out the same day that they are placed. For specific production details/time, see individual items listed “ready to ship in” days.

Can you guarantee that my order will arrive by a specific date?

My order is a gift, can you not include a receipt?

We do not provide receipts in our packaging for environmental responsibility. We understand that some orders are gifts and we don't want to ruin the surprise with pricing information. If you would like a paper receipt with your, we would be happy to send one, at your request.

Where do I request personalization with a name, monogram, color change or design tweak?

After you have sent us an Etsy conversation and we have discussed personalization, any additional cost associated and/or created a custom listing for your purchase, add your item to your cart and click "cart" you will see the ‘notes to seller’ section. This is where you can request customization items such as a name, monogram, color change request etc. * PLEASE NOTE: This is only for items that have been previously discussed with us and are approved or items that already have designated personalization. This is not for requesting a custom order or change based on a previous design.*

I put the wrong shipping address when checking out; can you change it?

We do not have the capability to change your address once an order is submitted. Please verify the destination address is correct at time of checkout. If an address change is needed after checkout, before an item is marked as shipped, we will refund/cancel your order for you to repurchase and correct your Etsy Shipping Address. To change your shipping address, go to You --> Account Information or amend/add a new address at repurchase checkout.

My package has shipped but I put an old address; what can I do?

Once a package has been marked as shipped, there is no way for us to change the destination address; the postage for your item has been purchased and your package on its way to the Post Office. If an incorrect address has been used and your order has been marked as shipped, our recommendation is for you to contact your local Post Office or go to their website to request a package interception. I live locally; can I arrange to pick-up my purchase in person?

Of course! We love to meet our local customers! In-person pick-up is available at our local events; please let us know in the “notes to seller’ at checkout, if you would like to pick-up your purchase in person and at which upcoming event you will be making your pick-up. Please review our Events page (www.gratefulgypsy.com/events) for the date/location that works best for your needs.

There is a problem with my order. How do I fix it?

We must be notified of any issues with your order within 3 business days of your in-person order date or if you ordered online, your order arrival date; your order arrival date is the USPS provided delivery date from Delivery Confirmation. This policy is in place to ensure timely resolution to any issues.

Items returned to us due to an issue with your order must be unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition, not damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Please be sure use good judgment when using scissors or sharp instruments to open a package containing apparel or fragile items. Items that incur damage during the opening of package after delivery are not the responsibility of the seller.
