Shop members

  • Deanna

    Owner, Maker, Designer, Illustrator

Hi! I am an author, illustrator, and founder of Grease and Grace Art Designs. I'm a stay at home mama and children's book illustrator/author with a passion for vintage aesthetic. I have Multiple Sclerosis & Endometriosis, #autoimmunewarrior! ♥️

  • Dean

Maker, Designer, Pin-Striper, Metal Fabricator, Sign Painter

I started drawing in grade school and never stopped. I trained to be a sign painter, now a lost art. I enjoy making art out of horseshoes, one can never have enough luck. I do Von Dutch, Dean Jefferies and Larry Watson style striping.

  • Cindy

Maker, Designer, Fine Artist, Wildlife Painter

I was an idealistic child of the 60’s and early 70’s. I have a great respect for nature and enjoy painting on almost anything, walls, furniture, driftwood, slate, feathers, barn siding, antiques, tire covers, and occasionally the traditional canvas.

Frequently asked questions

Do You Combine Shipping?

YES! Estimating combined shipping in advance is difficult due to our wide range of product sizes and weights. We combine shipping on any order if you would like to order more than one item. Generally, we have our customers purchase the items as per normal, then we refund the overages when we print your shipping labels. This ensures we can precisely know the weight of your order.

Can I Pick Up My Item in Person? Will Shipping Costs Be Removed?

YES! If we have had conversation with you about meeting to pick up your item(s), shipping costs will be $0.00 when your listing is made (if you have a custom order), or, will be refunded when we print your shipping label if you are buying a product already listed in our shop.

Wholesale availability

YES! If you are interested in wholesale, please contact us here, or at contact@greaseandgrace.com. Please note the product line you are interested in, ie) 'Purses', or 'Greeting Cards.'
Also, please send us a little bit about yourself, your store, and your location.
Thank you!

Are Your Vintage Handbags Large Enough For Daily Use? Will My Cell Phone FIt?

Yes and No.

— SIZE —

Some of our vintage handbag collection are large enough for the modern woman to use daily. We note the size in inches on each purse/clutch listing. Depending on the size of your mobile phone, most will fit inside.

Some handbags are meant for evening/occasional use, some can be used for daily use with more items inside.

Item descriptions will help you decide.

— Remember, you are buying TRUE VINTAGE —

Women in the 1940s-60s didn't utilize the same things as we do today, therefore didn't require such large handbags as we tend to think of in modern times. Use our photos and descriptions to help you. If you still have questions, don't hesitate to contact us!

Is a Vintage Purse Sturdy?

YES!

— QUALITY & CONSTRUCTION —

We HAND PICK each bag we sell. These purses are *true vintage*, they were used by someone a long, long time ago! We choose handbags which are in great condition. If there are any signs of wear, they are usually interior. Our listing descriptions and photos will help you decide.

In our personal experience, us gals and close friends of 'Grease and Grace', have had better experience carrying vintage constructed purses than with new overseas reproductions.
They just made things to last "back in the day."

That being said, they are vintage, they are old! Wear is to be expected of antique items and proper care should be taken in use.

We will package and ship your item(s) with the utmost protection and care.

Will You Paint MY Purse That I Already Own?

YES!

If you are local, contact us to arrange meet or drop-off if possible. Otherwise, you can ship your purse to us. We recommend shipping Priority Mail.

If you would like more details please contact us here on etsy, or at contact@greaseandgrace.com.

— Pricing —

When you provide your own purse you will only be paying for shipping and the artist's time.
