Reserved listings will be held for 24 hours only unless communication is made by the buyer.
All items are shipped USPS First Class (2-5 business days) unless the package weight requires another shipping method such as Parcel Select (2-9 business days). Priority shipping may be requested by the Buyer.
International orders are shipped USPS First Class International although some International orders will require alternate shipping methods. The International shipping costs have just gone up over 50% here.
If you need an item by a certain date please request Priority Shipping (2-3 business days) and I will add the cost to the shipping. Please tell me about any need for something to be shipped by a particular date.
I reuse and recycle clean packaging materials whenever possible.
Items are insured through Shipsurance whenever necessary. I generally insure items over $50 and breakables. Items under $50 are self insured by me.
Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds are issued under the following conditions:
I will provide a full refund of the purchase price and shipping cost if the item has been grossly misrepresented by me. Photos are considered part of the description.
I will provide a full refund of the purchase price and shipping cost if the item is lost or damaged in shipping.
For all other cases including Buyers Remorse:
The item must be returned in unaltered original condition with original packaging within 7 days of purchase (longer for Int'l). A restocking fee of 20% will be charged. Seller reserves the right to refuse returns under certain circumstances. Seller reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of 20% under certain circumstances.
Please wrap your return carefully for shipping. If something happens to the item being returned because of inadequate packaging, a refund will not be issued. If the item becomes damaged once in the buyers possession or after having been worn, a refund will not be issued.
Antique items should be handled with care. A refund will not be issued for items not handled with care by the buyer. Especially with turn of the century items, handle and put on / take off with care and they should be fine.
A refund will not be issued if the buyer has damaged the item while opening the package. Every effort is made to pack items for easy opening. Use scissors and other unpacking implements with caution.
Any package left unclaimed and returned to me will be charged for the shipping and a 20% restock fee. The remainder will be refunded.
One potential problem with vintage jewelry is old glue. It happens to everyone one time or other that a stone will fall out due to glue getting old and losing it's power to hold. If this happens to an item you've purchased when you open the package I would be happy to send you a tube of specific jewelry glue so you can glue it back in. You would then have that to fix other vintage jewelry or future issues.
If I have missed describing any flaws it’s not intentional. If it does happen, let me know about it through convo or email and I will make every effort to correct the problem. This is why, though, that photos are part of the description - to make up for any unintentional lack of description in the text. If a flaw is in the photos, that's good enough. It is buyers responsibility to examine photos and read description. I.E. you won't be getting a free piece of jewelry if something is inadvertently not shown or described (which pretty much NEVER happens). You might be able to return it but if you're just LOOKING for any reason to return an item because you wished you wouldn't have bought it, that's not a viable reason for return. NO buyers remorse will be entertained.
If a package becomes lost in the mail or temporarily shipped to the wrong place because of postal error, a refund will not be given until sufficient information about the package is obtained.
If the item being bought is meant as a gift or has some kind of time limit for arrival, this fact must be mentioned and documented BEFORE purchase. It cannot be used as an excuse for return after the fact.
If shipping takes longer than usual even though item was mailed on time, I can't control this and bear no responsibility. It takes however long it takes to get there and once I mail the package I have no control over other people's actions. An item that eventually becomes lost in the mail will be dealt with separately from an item taking a long time to ship (see above). I.E. you won't be getting a free piece of jewelry if the shipping takes 4 weeks instead of 3 weeks.
I cannot control how fast something is delivered to you, only how fast I can ship it.
