A custom or personalized order is any order which involves the customer's ability to make a color choice, add personalized information to the product (such as a name, information on an invitation, age, etc.), request a change in design, request a new product designed exclusively for the customer, a unique size or amount, or an order marked as "custom" or "reserved" in the listing title. Due to the nature of custom orders, and design time involved, once we begin work on your design or order, it cannot be cancelled.

So, pretty much all invitations or stationery which would require the customer to review a proof and say, "This is the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen - print it now!"

My shipping and handling prices include the price of USPS postage service to mail the package, and the price of the packaging materials.

I strive to stay up to date with ever changing postage fees, and keep separate the cost of the product from the S/H costs. A customer may find the S/H price may be very close to the price of the item sold, or even higher due to the nature of the items I sell and what USPS charges. Other shops offer free or lower S/H fees, but that just means they are building it into the price of the item. I want to be transparent and honest and keep S/H fees fair and reasonable for both the customer, and my shop.

That is a great question! It depends on what you are ordering, and where it is going...

Custom orders take longer than things I have "in stock" because we need time to hash out your design before I print it out and mail it to you.

Larger orders take longer than smaller ones (natch).

I'm in Chicago, so where you live can affect how long it will take. Canadian and other international orders may take a few weeks to be delivered and I don't have the ability to track orders once outside the United States.

Contact me with the item you are interested in and I can give you an estimate on the time it will leave my hands. After that, it's up to the pigeons!

I use card stock and envelopes from 100% recycled materials and/or 30% post consumer waste. Some of these materials come from plants or mills powered by wind and/or hydro sources. Most of the products I use are purchased locally and in bulk, reducing the amount of gas used in transporting these materials.

I am a one woman operation, and I live where I work. I'm in the US. I'm in the Midwest. I'm in Chicago. If you can relate to any of that - imagine what my carbon footprint looks like vs. a large stationery shop's.

I, Katherine Kelly, hoard craft materials. Nothing is thrown away. Ever. All unused card stock is repurposed until it is completely useless and maybe then it is used as packing material.
