I'm Melly and Greenlaundry Goods is my happy place. This shop began as a small side project in 2008, selling wall hangings I made in my free time. Over the years, my designs have evolved and matured and still, the discovery never ends. There's always more and newer ways to build a wall hanging from scratch. Now I'm obsessed with making big ones, with unconventional materials. I enjoy making wall hangings so much because from start to finish, the process keeps me close to nature. The end product gives off calmness and quietness, something I'm always in search of.

As I worked on growing my shop from a side project to a more focused side job, I realised hey, I need to be offering more products. In that search, I discovered a talent (or fixation) for making round, full and intricate pom poms. They take up so.much.time but darn it, they are the cutest things once done! The direction my poms have taken is largely dictated by customers who requested for them. I'm so grateful for that as making pom poms was a serendipitous accident.

Since I'm a one-woman show, I'm able to accommodate custom orders readily. Frankly, I love taking them on and personalising them for you. I think that's one of the beauties of Etsy.

Ultimately I hope to go full-time with Greenlaundry Goods. Making and selling, honestly handcrafted goods to people all over the world, is a small dream I have. The thought of my wall hangings being a part of your home, or my pom poms fascinating someone to bits is an amazing feeling. And one that never gets old.
