Frequently asked questions
What are your wallpaper material types?
Green Planet offers two types of wallpaper materials: peel and stick and pre-pasted paper. Peel & stick has light canvas texture and pre-pasted paper has smooth texture. Both materials are non-toxic and have no smell.
Which wallpaper material is right for me?
Both materials, peel & stick and pre-pasted paper, may be used in any room of the house or a venue.
How do I measure my wall?
Use our own wallpaper calculator to find out how many rolls of wallpaper you need to order for your measurements: https://greenplanetprint.com/pages/wallpaper-calculator
Start by measuring the height and width of the wall you want to cover. The height measurement will tell you how long your wallpaper panel must be. The width will tell you how many panels you will need.
To calculate how many wallpaper panels you need, divide your total width measurement by 26" (66 cm). For example, if your wall is 104" (264 cm) wide, you need to order 4 panels because 104" divided by 26" is 4 (make sure to always round up).
Do you accept returns?
Green Planet prints each wallpaper to order, therefore, no returns are accepted. If there is problem with your order, please contact us.
What ink do you use for print?
Green Planet prints with latex ink, which is a water-based ink, and is odorless, non-toxic, and compatible with pvc-free materials. Wallpapers printed with latex ink are safe for schools, hospitals, and nurseries.
Latex inks are qualified for certifications that demonstrate they meet world's standards for low chemical emissions into indoor air, as opposed to other inks available on the market, such as UV curable ink, hard solvent ink, "ecosolvent" ink-1 and ink-2.
Can wallpaper be used on textured walls?
Light orange peel texture will most likely work! Please always try on a sample first on your wall, before committing to a larger order.
Wallpaper will not hold on to a roughly textured wall.
Certain paints will not allow wallpaper. Please refer to the used paint description/recommendations.
Before application, please ensure the walls are super clean, free of any oils and dirt.
Will the seam be visible after all panels are applied to the wall?
Yes, a seam will be visible. Depending on your wall texture and wallpaper color, the seam will more or less visible.
Each of our wallpaper panels have about 0.5" overlap on its right side, to allow for the pattern match. Panels are applied one over another, overlapping every other panel at about 0.5". All panels come numbered.
Is your wallpaper removable?
Yes! Within 3 years, both peel & stick and pre-pasted wallpaper may be removed with water and gentle scraping. After 3 years, the wallpaper may experience a tighter grip on the wall's surface.
The wallpaper may only be applied once to a surface.
