Once an idea forms - we design a Greet and smile cutting or engraving template to be interpreted by our laser cutter. -

A little finishing or trimming may be required after the laser has done its thing. -

Our laser cutter takes our designs and with power and tracking instructions fires the laser to cut or engrave elements. -

Sometimes the cut out bits are discarded but often we are creating both relief and cut-away designs at the same time.
Sharing big-hearted greetings for all occasions!
We love coffee, travel, and being creative. We like to do some things differently and so design all our cards and laser-cut them ourselves too (usually from more sustainable poplar plywood).
Every now and again we get an idea for a different type of thing - like our wine labels, coasters, or wine greeting wraps - and so we make prototypes and see if we can make the ideas work. The best ones will make it to Etsy!
The Greet and smile name came to us as we were thinking about how we like to approach things and the positivity that we can all share.
We hope to have fun with creating our designs for different occasions and turning them into the keepsake cards that we specialise in. Our inspirations come from observing the natural world around us and the encounters that we make as we travel and experience life.
We know the importance of family and relationships and sharing life together - the good and the difficult times - and we hope some of this makes it through to our cards and designs. Standing alongside each other and showing consideration and encouragement can be simple ways of helping others through challenging times, and participating in the happy moments of life and making the most of them is good for the soul and helps create a more joyful approach to life.
