What a gorgeous painting! I love the use of light and dark that gives this image life.

I paint (almost) daily paintings of still lifes and landscapes. I set up the still lifes on a platform that can be raised or lowered to change the viewpoint from bird's eye to ground level. I set up spotlights and arrange the background until I have the view that I want.
I generally paint my landscapes from photographs but like to paint outside if the weather permits. I work with my photographs in photoshop and rearrange and change elements until I have the composition that I want. I paint from the computer monitor. I paint in oils on Ampersand gessoboard panels or cotton canvas covered Raymar panels. I don't varnish my paintings, but you are free to do so using artists oil painting varnish (available at artists supply stores). I usually sell my paintings unframed, but can recommend the frames from Franken Frames or King of Frame
