Hi! My name is Val and I adore all things lovely — pretty paper, rhinestones, orchids and fragrant lilacs, and the loveliest shades of turquoise and grey. I’m the stylist, lead designer, and owner of Greyson Design.

I’ve spent many Michigan summers cultivating my love for planning, creating and collecting anything that was beautiful. I’m the child of an artistic father and creative mother, and as a little girl, I remember disappearing with my sketchbook into the woods behind my house and spending hours sketching and collecting delicate flowers to my heart’s content.

But it wasn’t until 2008, when I started working as a florist and coordinator with a local flower shop that my true passion blossomed. From there, Greyson Design — a full service design, wedding and event styling boutique — was born. Now, in addition to being a trained florist I specialize in event and wedding styling, and graphic and invitation design.

There is nothing I enjoy more than forming a sincere connection with my clients and working to bring together all the personal touches to make the event
oh-so-lovely.
