Hello, my name is Ben.
I have been working with wood in a varying capacity for the past 20 years.
At the moment, grey wrk is a one person operation focused on craft and quality. To stay as connected as possible to the wood, hand tools (sans power) are used for much of the crafting process. Some of which are over 100 years old!
Each work produced is unique in one way or another just as each piece of wood used is unique.
Wood is an amazing natural resource and my aim is to highlight its beauty and potential through thoughtful design and application. My hope is to provide works that will inspire and enrich your daily life.
