Announcement   IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS

LAST DAY FOR CHRISTMAS ORDERS: December 16th MY SHOP WILL CLOSE ON DECEMBER 17th for vacation.

MADE TO ORDER: Made to Order listings will be available through December 9th and then those listings will be deactivated.

CUSTOM ORDERS: Custom Orders were available for two weeks in November this year and are now CLOSED. Please message me your email to make sure you know the next time I am open for customs. This includes inscriptions, CUSTOM design work, and special requests (like with or without a bail or shiny v. oxidized (dark)).

PRICES GOING UP: If you've noticed the price of my work increasing there are two reasons. 1. Etsy increased their fees and the percentage they take from my sales. I have to account for this in the price of my work. 2. Demand - every single one of these is individually made by one person. They are not cast by a middle man nor do I have an assistant. I have to charge what I need to charge to continue this business. Expect a significant price increase (as much as 20%) in 2019 on small silver pendants.

What is a Centering Pendant?: a work of art and a mindfulness tool that helps you stay present, calm and centered in everyday life situations. Use it with a specific mantra, to get you through a period of difficulty in your life (along with professional help), as a remembrance of a special person or event, or to help motivate you to achieve your goals.

If my shop is empty it's because I am sold out. Please find me on instagram at mgoodson_graham_studios or email me at margaretgoodsongraham [!at] gmail.com to get on the mailing list to hear about new designs, upcoming shows and promotions or sales (which rarely happen).

Margaret Goodson Graham Studios makes pure silver (and now white bronze and copper!) Centering Pendants to remind you to reCenter yourSelf in your present moment.

Take your yoga, mindfulness, and meditation practice beyond the mat and learn to feel centered and grounded during the in-between times of everyday life.

With the thumb and forefinger in Gyan Mudra, touch your pendant anytime of day to take a few breaths and feel calm, complete and relaxed.

Mudras ('gesture' or 'seal') originated in India and are a symbolic or ritual gesture used in Hinduism and Buddhism and is often used in their religious practices. The Gyan Mudra, seen commonly when people meditate is also called the Chin Mudra and the Gyana Mudra (when the hand is at the heart, with the palm facing in toward the body). I encourage you to do your own research on hasta (hand) mudras.

The chakra system originated in India (1,500 - 500 BC). The word chakra (which means wheel) was originally found in the Vedas and also used in the Upanishads and later in the Yoga Sutras. These designs are based on chakra depictions I have seen in many different books and resources, with my own artistic twist. I encourage you to do your own research on the significance of chakras.

Starting with a hand drawn design, Margaret Graham creates each individual pendant with "precious metal clay". Once assembled and laboriously filed and sanded, each hollow pendant is fired in a kiln at 1650 (1300 for white bronze, 1750 for copper) degrees and comes out as SOLID METAL: 99.9% pure silver, copper or white bronze are currently available.

Every Centering Pendant is signed and given an edition number (only 20 of each design will be made) on the edge of the piece.

About

Ask the Universe and you shall receive

I asked the Universe to bring more purpose and meaning to my jewelry and the idea for the form of my Centering Pendants came to me in the car one day while I was pondering how to help people with daily mindfulness and taking their yoga and meditation off the mat and into their everyday existence.

I accept most forms of payment, and like most Etsy sellers, I will wait to ship the items when I receive the payment. If you pay by check, expect a delay in shipping for me to make sure the check clears.

I know the payment process on Etsy can be confusing. Make sure if you pay through paypal that the payment process is complete. Shipping
NEW - FREE SHIPPING coming in 2019 for orders over $50

I have increased my shipping costs to cover the cost of shipping + PACKAGING. If you prefer to have your Goods arrive WITHOUT a gift box (simply wrapped securely), use the code "nogiftbox" and it will take off $2 from your total price.

NOTE: the code will not change the price of shipping costs, but will take that $2 off your total.

Otherwise: Your Goods are shipped in ONE gift box, with tissue paper, inside a professional, brown packaging box. Boxes and tissue paper are made from 100% recycled materials.

NOTE: If you need additional gift boxes for items, it will be an additional $2 per box. However, If you purchase a listing for Bridesmaids all additional gift boxes and shipping charges are included in the price already.

I ship first class. Most of my customers receive their packages within 3-4 days, which allows me to get to the post office and the package to get to you.

If you would like shipping insurance or tracking of the package let me know in the notes to seller. Insurance will require additional payment before shipping of the Goods.

I offer shipping to all countries! I regularly ship to my sister in Switzerland with NO problems.

FAQs and info

1. Custom Orders are different from Made to Order listings.
....Custom Orders are offered WHEN I HAVE TIME AVAILABLE. At the time specified you can request pairing certain designs with certain stones, inscriptions in pendants, bail or no bail, etc. If you want to know when I'll be offering Custom Orders in the future, please join my mailing list by sending me your email in a direct message or by emailing margaretgoodsongraham [!at] gmail.com
....Made To Order listings are listings that I create just as they are shown in the pictures, no special requests, but offer much more frequently. For example: custom order requests were only available for 2 weeks in 2018 because that's all the time I had available for taking them (these even include custom design requests). Whereas, Made to Order listings are available a majority of the year but only include what I currently make and how I make it.

2. Why is the Heart Chakra (or some other design) never available?
....I create designs when I feel inspired and then those designs are editioned only 20 times. The heart chakra and root chakra sold out very quickly in 2018 and I have not designed the 2019 chakra line yet. It's best that you either follow me on social media (FB: MGoodsonGraham or IG: mgoodson_graham_studios) or sign up for my newsletter (email: margaretgoodsongraham [!at] gmail.com) to know when new designs are released and when they are almost OUT.

3. What do the sizes mean?
....I am able to make a variety of sizes. It's best to pay attention to the exact size given in the description of the listing as the exact measurements for Small, Medium, Large and X-Large vary depending on the design I've drawn and the shape of the pendant. The following is approximate:
....Small: ~ 3/4 in or 2 cm
....Medium: ~ 1 in or 2.5 cm
....Large: ~ 1 1/4 in or 3 cm
....X-Large: ~ 1 1/2 in or 3.5 cm

4. What is a bail?
....A bail is a loop at the top of a pendant for the chain to slide through. The pendants without a bail have holes in the top to allow the chain to slide through the pendant itself.
