Ooooooo! Ahhhhhhh! You read my mind with your simple, delightful style and the security of the leverbacks! And these ruby jade stones are just the shade of cool red with blue undertones that I've been searching for. I'm also loving the interest in the stones you've selected for your collection--the eye continues to explore them. Fascinating! Thank you!
Ceramic Artist Turned Jewelry Designer
After studying ceramics for years I decided that it just wasn't for me. The process was too long! So I picked up a beading magazine and followed instructions in the back for wire wrapping, looped links and how to use tools. And voila! Gritgoods Jewelry was born. Technically I am a self-taught jewelry artist but thanks to my background in art, making things with my hands came relatively easy.
I'll never forget the first cluster earrings I made. I gave them to my Mom as a gift and she told me "clusters are your thing!" At the time my answer was "it took so long to make!" but here I am years later, making clusters and they are "my thing." I have perfected my signature cluster so it hangs like a perfect cluster of grapes and I now offer 5 different styles of cluster designs.
My new love of yoga has me reading about the chakras and stone energies and can not wait to use this new knowledge in my own collections.

This man has been by my side for 7 years, helped at EVERY festival and supports me in every way. By far the best helped I have listed ;)
Chloe came into Gritgoods in 2012. She was rescued and discarded and we then we got a text about her. She is a great dog and I don't know why anyone ever gave her up (or worse!).
That "Hey Girl" Guy
All findings are gunmetal (the Grit) and all stones are genuine (the Goods). You'll also find seeds and nuts incorporated in designs and an occasional acrylic bead.
Gritgoods Jewelry is all about finding balance: between classic designs and bohemian flare, traditional jewelry and dark, edgy look of gunmetal; quality craftsmanship and affordability; handmade uniqueness and every-day wearability; and precise assembly and unexpected whimsy.
Gritgoods jewelry is for women who find themselves daily in different roles - of mother, worker, fitness guru, and fun hostess to weekend-gypsy, and nature lover - who want ease, comfort and simplicity in their personal style and accessories, that can travel with them from one role to the next.
Gritgoods Jewelry: balance between function and freedom.

Additional policies and FAQs
Gunmetal is a dark patina over base metal. Gunmetal does not contain nickel. It will not flake or rub off. If it gets wet, wipe it off, but don't wear any jewelry swimming or in the shower.
I'm willing to adjust the length of necklaces, as long as supplies are available. And lengthening of necklaces by more than 6 inches may have additional costs.
If you have a special request for specific colors, or a certain outfit for which you need jewelry to match, I would LOVE to design a piece JUST FOR YOU! I do this all the time for myself, often making earrings at the table just before work so they will match my outfit! Also look at my items that have sold for more ideas. I only relist certain items, so there are many different Goods to browse in my sold items: http://www.etsy.com/shop_sold.php?user_id=5195693
All of my customers have been 100% happy, and many comment how fast they receive the item and how much prettier the Goods are in person than in picture. http://www.etsy.com/feedback_public.php?user_id=5195693
Take care and enjoy looking and purchasing!
