My Story

I own a floating home in the historic, bohemian houseboat community of Sausalito, CA where I do all of my designing and making. I love vintage ethnic textiles and modern graphics, and design for the boho-chic woman. My bags and accessories have been described "simply functional and elegant design." I design my own sewing patterns, and hunt for unique fabrics that inspire. I also make home decor accessories, jewelry, ceramics, and crochet work.

Returns and exchanges

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
Generally, my photos and descriptions will give you a very good idea of what you are about to purchase, and I hope you will be completely satisfied. I prefer not to take returned items after 7 days. Please consider returns or exchanges carefully, as you will be paying for the return shipping, and I do not offer refunds for items that have been lost or damaged in the shipping process. When in doubt, re-gift!

Payment
PayPal payments are standard on Etsy.com, however I also accept checks or money orders.

Checks should be made out to Heather Graef (that's me). Please do not write payments to "Gstudio". Your item will be shipped once payment is received and cleared.
Shipping
I ship within the United States using priority or flat-rate US Mail service. Other shipping methods may be possible if faster service is required on ready-to-ship orders only.
Additional policies and FAQs
Textile Variations:

Each item is truly unique, handmade by me in my studio. Some made-to-order items may vary slightly from example photos, for instance: if the fabric has an all-over pattern, the position of the pattern will probably vary on each piece.

Customized Orders:

Requesting a different fabric for a listed item is considered a customized order. Customized orders may take longer to fabricate - contact me before ordering so that I can create a "reserved item" listing for you on this website. Depending on the nature of the customized order, I may opt to send an invoice for a non-refundable deposit of US $20.00 before the work begins.

Textile Care:

Cotton fabrics are pre-washed. Polyester/outdoor fabrics may be pre-washed, which may soften the fabric, depending on the weave. My pre-washing is done by machine, and line dried. Hand-washing is recommended for most items. Special care instructions will be included with your purchase (if required), or found on my website at www.gstudiostyle.com.
