About

Pots made for preparing & sharing food and for daily rituals

I have been making wheel thrown stoneware pots since 1980. I moved to Shafer, Minnesota from Venezuela in 2005 to the vibrant community of potters in the St. Croix River Valley. I’m inspired by the beauty of the handwork of native Venezuelan Indians and the way their hand work, pots, baskets and textiles, create community, blending naturally into the context of daily life. I love the beauty that can be found in simple pots made for preparing and sharing food and other rituals.

I want to share my work with people who will find joy in using it. I sell my pots at home in the studio, in galleries, and at Northern Clay Center in Minneapolis and through pottery sale events like The Annual St. Croix Valley Pottery Tour (www.minnesotapotters), but I also want to make my pots available online. So this year we linked my website to Etsy. Please feel free to contact me any time.

Refunds and Exchanges
I hope you will be delighted with any purchase, but if not, you may return it within 30 days for either option below:

PACKING FOR RETURN: Please reuse the original packing materials and make sure the piece is well wrapped and cushioned. I cannot refund or give credit for chipped, cracked and broken pieces or damage that occurred during return shipment if your shipper does not accept responsibility for the claim.

BREAKAGE: If you receive a piece that has been broken during shipment, please notify me within 24 hours. It is essential to save pieces and original packing materials for inspection and collection by our shipper.
