Welcome to Gusto Spice - Home of the original Rubs of the States BBQ spice gift set and Etsy's favorite BBQ joint since 2011 !
Gusto Spice is a family-owned BBQ spice company located in Western Massachusetts USA. We specialize in original, tested barbecue recipes for meats, seafood, tofu and veggies. We travel the United States looking for the best barbecue joints, thus giving us inspiration to make absolutely authentic blends. Making BBQ spice rubs is our specialty, so we hope our love of barbecue shines through in every rub we make!
All of Gusto Spice's barbecue rubs are original recipes and handmade, by us. We house the majority of our rubs in solid containers that help keep air and light away from the spices, allowing them to stay fresh and last longer! We do not add flavor enhancers or artificial ingredients to our spices and hand pick each spice to ensure quality blends.
We welcome your pictures! If you make something delicious with our rubs, include the picture when you leave a review or send us a picture right here on Etsy! We may share your picture on our website or Instagram pages and the post may include your first name, city and state, so please let us know if you do not wish for us to share this information.

A SHORT RUB BUYING GUIDE:
Our rubs are made fresh every day, so not much is needed to achieve amazing taste results! This small buying guide will help you decide which rub is best for you:
COOKING 4LBS. OR LESS OF MEAT?
Try our Rubs of the States or Rubs of the South sets. EACH container of rub (five in all) will cover up to 4lbs. of meat. [Ex: One 2oz.-sized tin in this set will cover one 4-5 lb. chicken, one 5.5lb. chuck roast or one rack of pork ribs.]
COOKING 1-10LBS. OF MEAT?
Try our 4oz. individual rubs or our Deluxe State or South sets. EACH container of rub will cover up to 10LBS. of meat. [Ex: One 4oz.-sized container will cover two racks of pork ribs or one 10-12 lb. whole brisket.]

Frequently asked questions
WHEN WILL MY ITEM SHIP?
You can locate the “ship by” date either in your Etsy "cart" before checkout or after checkout you can find the "ship by" date on the receipt you received from Etsy for your purchase. We normally ship items ahead of schedule, so you may receive your item earlier than expected. If you are in need of your package by a specific date, please “convo” us on Etsy before placing your order so we can do our best to accommodate your request.
WHERE IS MY TRACKING NUMBER?
Your tracking number can be found on the receipt sent to you by Etsy after your order has been sent. Please allow 24 hours after the initial shipping receipt to view your tracking information online. You may also go to USPS.com and enter your tracking number where it says, "Track A Package."
DO YOU SELL YOUR PRODUCTS WHOLESALE?
At this time Gusto Spice does not sell products wholesale.
WHY SHOULD I UPGRADE TO PRIORITY SHIPPING?
In the event the postal carrier loses or damages your package during shipping, upgrading to Priority will enable you to recoup the money you paid for your order. We cannot offer refunds or replacement products for items lost or damaged during shipping if you did not purchase the upgrade. We do not profit from the upgrade. It is offered solely for your protection!
I PLACED MY ORDER FOR MULTIPLE ITEMS BUT THEY NEED TO GO TO SEPARATE ADDRESSES. IF I GIVE YOU THE ADDRESSES CAN YOU SEND THEM FOR ME?
If you are making a purchase of multiple items and wish to send them to two or more separate addresses, please make separate orders to insure proper shipping rates. We can only send items to one address per completed purchase.
MY TRACKING SAYS MY PACKAGE WAS DELIVERED BUT I CAN'T FIND IT!
Please check first with your neighbors (or apartment manager if applicable) in case they received your package by mistake. Please also visit your local post office to speak with your carrier as they can help pinpoint where/when the package was left. If you need additional help, please convo us here on Etsy and we will do everything we can to help locate your package!
I ACCIDENTALLY ENTERED THE INCORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS!
If your package has not yet been sent, please contact us immediately. For your protection and ours, Etsy requires your order to be cancelled and reordered. These steps help protect both you the buyer and us from fraud. If your order has already been sent, please contact the USPS immediately and ask if they are able to redirect the package's destination.
