I show in galleries, shops and restaurants. Give me a wall and I will hang my work wherever, whenever.
An underpainting. Before I used color, I chose to do a monochrome study of line and value.
Evolution of a painting commission. After visiting and photographing a location. I drew out the composition in paint.
Quite a few stages later, painting is in a final state. When I can't push further, I must be "done",
A large painting I did many moons ago while a graduate student. Very textured and graffiti inspired.

It begins with an idea, a sketch, and things start coming together!

I make paintings.

I work out of my Queens home. I love my art supplies: my paints, brushes, pencils, paper, canvas... I delight in taking photographs of the city I live in. My photos ignite the ideas, what I will paint and how I will do it.

When you buy my artwork, I am thrilled to have you, my buyer, respond to a visual piece I created.. Connecting through the art is what it's about.

I’ve been an artist for as long as I remember. I actually can’t think of a starting point. I majored in art in college and earned an MFA in painting. In my paintings, I am focusing on my love of the urban city and figurative street scenes.
