I use it as brush wash in calligraphy practice. It can also serve the purpose as a brush rest.

As a child I loved making things from knit pot holders to Creepy Crawlers to model monsters and whatever. As an adult, I make bird feeders, coffee mugs, and coasters among other things. I have been making pottery for about 15 years with a sprinkling of classes along the way. I continue to practice and learn and grow in my knowledge and enjoyment of the medium of handmade pottery. Working mostly with stoneware, I create my own designs and make wheel thrown and hand built functional ware. Pottery you can use and enjoy.

Gypsy Pottery is totally hand-made pottery created by earth, physics, fire and me. Following my heart making functional and decorative pottery inspired by nature in beautiful southwest Florida.

My work is in 41 states and 10 countries.

Each item has been carefully designed and constructed by hand, and each is one of a kind.

All food service items are lead free, food safe, dishwasher, microwave and oven safe.

Each mug has been made by human hands. Eco-friendly as each can be safely washed in the dishwasher or microwaved, and be used again and again.

Bird feeders have been tested in my Florida backyard. The all natural jute cords stand up great to our brutal winds and rain.

Each and every order is very important to me and I thank you for shopping at Gypsy Pottery.
