Returns and exchange details
Customer Service is important to me. I want to make sure that you are satisfied with your purchase within reason. If for some reason you are not satisfied, please contact me and I will work with you to correct any problems. Please do not just send an item back to me.

Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable. You will be responsible for return shipping. Do not send an item back with postage due, I will not accept it.

Exchanges: Please contact me upon receipt of your item if you want to exchange it. You will be responsible for all shipping costs both ways. There is no exchange for custom orders.

I am not responsible for slow shipping times and will not refund because of any delays by the postal service or international customs/ports. Once the item leaves my hands I cannot be reponsible for how long it takes to get to you.
Payment is expected at time of purchase unless you are in need of an adjusted invoice, in which case, please convo me immediately to avoid delays in shipment. Items are not shipped until payment has cleared.

Custom orders are processed in the order of both receipt AND payment. No order is worked on until payment is received. When working on a custom order I monitor my ETSY messages very closely and ask my customers to do the same. Please note - I do not have smart phone so messages are only received when I am on my desktop computer system. I will however, keep in constant contact with you about your order, your wishes and desires, and how your order is progressing including lots of pictures. When I send you the link to pay for your custom listing, I will also let you know how many customers are ahead of you and approximately how long it will be before I can begin the actual work for your order. [example: "I am currently finishing a custom order and have one other one ahead of you but should be able to start work on your order in approximately 72-hours"]

For items in which we are creating a different color/ribbon or bead style of an item already made, I will pull the supplies and take pictures for you to review and if appropriate, make choices on. For completely new designs I will work up a design based on our conversations of what your dream piece will look like and then take pictures.

Bead designs are worked up on the design board so we can move things around as often as necessary without actually stringing them. This allows you to make changes, start over, or whatever is necessary.

For ribbon/fabric designs I will put together the various layers involved but I will not finalize them together until after you have seen pictures of the layers separately and "set/pinned" together. That way if you change your mind and want an additional layer or to delete a layer, we can make those changes without issue.

Regardless of the materials involved, I will keep taking pictures after changes for you to look at. We'll keep at it until we get the design you want, just the way you want it. Once everything is ok then I will string, sew, glue or whatever is involved in putting your piece together for you. Then I will get more pictures for your final approval. Upon your approval I will ship it off to you via first class mail.

In the rare event that we cannot find a design that you are completely happy with in a reasonable amount of time, I will cancel your order refund your monies. I do not expect this to ever occur but as they say, there is a first time for everything. I work hard to prevent that first time from happening.

If for some reason you need to cancel your order please contact me within 24 hours of placing your order. Once the item is shipped I won't be able to cancel the order.

I accept Credit Cards via Etsy's Direct Checkout Option, Etsy Gift Cards, PayPal and money orders. Etsy's letter to the buyer confirms a sale and notifies me [the seller] of the sale. It also removes the item[s] from my stock on line. It DOES NOT confirm that the sale has been finalized. If you have any questions regarding payment please contact me immediately.

Unpaid sales will be canceled after 24 hours of no payment or communication.

All sales are published in the Welcome paragraph on the first shop page. Please note: Unless otherwise noted, sale codes are ONLY good for ready to ship items. They are not good on bulk purchases, wholesale items, or custom orders. To use the discount code click on the blue APPLY COUPON CODE words and a box will open up. Enter the code exactly as written and then click Apply after entering your code. Etsy will automatically apply the discount if applicable to your order. Only one code can be used at a time per Etsy website rules.

Anyone purchasing from Hair Glitz and Glamour Gems by Sandy becomes a special member of the Hair Glitz and Glamour Gems family and on your packing slip and/or receipt you will find a discount code to use for all future purchases. Unlike sale codes this code is good for custom orders!

If you'd like to pay with a credit card, select the option showing the major credit card logos. If you have an Etsy Gift Card balance, the option to pay with that balance will automatically be selected. Deselect the box if you'd prefer not to use your balance.

You DO NOT NEED A PAYPAL ACCOUNT TO USE THE PAYPAL OPTION. You can easily use your credit or debit card without creating an account with PayPal . Choose the Paypal option during checkout. After you submit your order, click the "pay now" button. Scroll down and you will see the option to pay with credit or debit card without having to sign up for a Paypal account.

If paying with echeck, I will wait for it to clear before shipping your order, this can take 3-5 BUSINESS days.

If you chose to pay with a money order, please note that I only accept US Postal money orders. Any other money orders will be returned to you. Items will be shipped AFTER the money order has been received by me and payment has cleared.

If you feel that you did not complete your order and want to check. Go to “Your Etsy” and in the upper-left corner, click purchases, then go to the order in question and click to view. If there is a extra-large green-checkmark the order was finalized. If there is no checkmark and you used PayPal click the PayPal button provided and verify your order. PayPal will then send the seller an e-mail confirming the payment, and the order will be shipped. If you used direct checkout you can check with your bank or on your gift card balance to see if payment has cleared. You may also convo me if you have any questions or to verify that I have received your order.
I will make every effort to make your transactions smooth and easy. My goal is to get you your orders as fast as possible, but do be aware that everything in my shop is handmade. Please let me know when you haved recieved your item. If there is a problem please let me know right away and before you give me feedback so that I can work with you to fix whatever the issue is. It is important to me that you are happy with your item and my service.

Items marked ready to ship will usually ship within 3-4 days from payment clearning. Custom orders take longer; I will keep in contact with you to let you know how your item is progressing and if there are any expected delays.

For all shipments if there is any question, problem, or delay I will contact you as soon as possible to let you know the status or reason for the delay.

Shipping costs include packaging and postage with tracking. All items are packed well to prevent damage during shipping. If you would like insurance, please let me know as this will be an extra charge from the postal service. Please wait for a revised invoice before paying.

All orders are shipped via USPS first class mail which can take anywhere from 2-10 days domestically and upwards of that to 6 weeks or more internationally depending on the postal service and customs procedures involved. I do not promise dates of arrival. Once a package has been shipped, it is the responsibility of the postal service and I do not have any control over their delivery times. I am not responsible for how long it takes once the package leave my house.

Priority shipping for US mail is available at an additional cost based on USPS postal rates. Just let me know that you would like this service and I will send you a listing so you can pay for this service. At the time of this writing, the additional cost for basic flat rate padded envelope priority shipping is $4.00. HOWEVER - please be advised that the postal service states they do not guarantee delivery on any of their services except EXPRESS delivery. If you would like to purchase this additional service please message me with your zip code or country code of origin and I will be happy to obtain costs for you. Most US domestic costs are in excess of $20.00, international costs are higher, costs are based on size/weight/region, etc.

International customers - I am happy to ship most items anywhere, charges are estimated and may have to be adjusted accordingly based on the charges from the postal service. Also - please be aware that your item may be stuck in customs for a period of time and I am not responsible for that. Some supply items are not able to be shipped internationally. Please check the item's description for this information. Buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred.

I will only ship to the address listed in your Etsy or PayPal profile, if you would like to ship to another address, please edit this information PRIOR to purchase.

I take your privacy very seriously. I maintain all information only through Etsy's website, I do not personally keep any information you provide to Etsy. When you make an online purchase through Etsy you may be required to provide such information as demographic and payment information. The Etsy website maintains all of this information within their site and they handle the security of their site. I do not have any access to any information other than the specific shipping information that is needed to create a label to get my products to you. All items are handmade with love in a smoke free environment. No two are exactly alike which makes my items unique, one of a kind.

If you see something you like but wish it were in a different color or on a different type of clip, headband, etc. please feel free to convo me so that if possible, I can create it for you!

All my purchases come wrapped in cute cellophane bags with curling ribbon, ready to give to your lucky recipient☺ A packing slip is included however, no pricing information is on the slip. If you need an itemized receipt you can print one out from Etsy, go to your purchases section and click on the item. There you will see a section that will allow you to print a receipt.
