Due to efforts to protect all customers, earrings will not be accepted for refunds.

Refunds will be issued within 1-2 weeks once the item has been received.

Refunds will not be issued for damage inflicted by customer, or for allergies related to the type of metal or material used in the jewelry. If you have specific question about the type of metal used, contact me BEFORE placing your order.

For jewelry that arrives broken, the customer may return the item (they incur the cost of shipping and will not be reimbursed) and receive a new or fixed item.

In the case that a customer does not like a piece, full refunds will only be issued only after I have received the piece. I will not issue refunds until I receive the merchandise. Refunds will not be issued for returned earrings (see above).

The price of shipping WILL NOT be refunded to customers for items returned. Only the cost of the item itself will be returned.

PayPal accepted only. Payment must be completed upon checkout before items will be shipped. The "other" payment options is reserved for trades only. If you are interested in setting up a trade, contact me through the item page or through the shop page. One of a kind items may not be eligible for trade, depending on the item.

I typically ship through USPS on Fridays ONLY. Items are shipped in gift boxes or gift bags inside of USPS-approved boxes. Shipping may take longer during holidays or troublesome weather, but I accept no responsibility for USPS delivery times.

If you would like the item to go the giftee rather than yourself (the gifter), just contact me privately and send me the address or be sure to include it in the comments section at checkout.

I have discounts running all the time! You can check my Twitter, Facebook page, or my blog for the newest coupon code. Check the store front as well to see what kind of discounts are happening. In addition to these great discounts, every time you purchase something from Hair of the Hare, you receive a personalized coupon code through your Etsy mail, which is good for one year. The coupon is good for a single transaction, so it expires at the time of use. Since I love and appreciate my customer so much, though, I keep giving you a discount every single time you purchase! Purchase before the year expires and you pretty much have a never-ending discount, created just for you!

Custom orders are accepted, and I love working with people to create a piece I know they'll love. Just send me a message by clicking on "Request Custom Item" on the left side of the page, and we'll see what we can come up with.

Also, if you see something you like, but you want it in a different color or mix of colors, let me know and I'll reserve a piece for you and you alone. I am able to do custom orders for the Celtic Heart necklace in nearly any color, thanks to an amazing supplier who hand dyes all (ALL!) of the "rat tails." Talk about handmade! So if you saw a beautiful color somewhere, let me know and I will do my best to find a color match for you.
