As soon as I was happy with the final outcome she sent it to me next day post so that I could get it time for my Grandads birthday ! Highly recommend using Hallelujah Tree. Great service!

Pets welcome! I often include the family pets, in fact a few trees have included more dogs than humans.

I create Family Tree artworks in pencils and watercolours and scan into Photoshop ready to add your family names

If creating an ancestral tree we can add dates and place of birth and death, this is a very bespoke creation

Names are added a letter at a time and each letter is then moved into place, shaped to the branches of your chosen tree

I then ensure that each name is legible within the foliage, fading parts of leaves and branches where necessary
A little bit about the founding of Hallelujah Tree...
Drawing has been my favourite form of expression since I was a small child. There were long periods in adulthood where there simply wasn't time to indulge in art but after my 4th child was born I decided I had to make the effort to fit art into my life to feel like 'me' again.
I opened my shop in 2015 intending to offer prints of my artworks but almost immediately I had a request to transform an artwork into a family tree and I owe huge thanks to the Texan lady who made this request and set me on a path to what is now my full time passion, providing personalised artworks to help customers celebrate friends and family.
Recently my daughter asked me to put together a family tree featuring the British Royal Family. I thought this was a great idea and I'm in the process of opening a new shop on Etsy called TreeArtByMel.etsy.com in which I will begin to stock Royal Family trees, both prints and 10 x 12" framed prints.

If the package is in any way damaged when you receive it then please do not open it otherwise you'll be charged for returning the item, just write on it 'damaged, return to sender', kindly send me a photograph of the damage and send me a message letting me know it's on its way back so that I can arrange for a replacement to be sent.
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase (I sincerely hope not!) then again please let me know and we can sort things out. A full refund will be given as long as the print is returned to me undamaged. This does not apply to custom/personalised orders which are non refundable/exchangable.
I will do all I can to ensure your purchase reaches you in perfect condition and that you are a happy customer!

Full payment must be received before prints are shipped. Full payment must be received before I begin work on any personalised artworks.

Both framed and unframed prints will be sent by a courier delivery service (normally FedEx/UPS taking 1-3 business days as standard (not guaranteed but very reliable in my experience).

Additional policies and FAQs
Any print size up to A4 (8.3 x 11.7") are carefully wrapped in tissue paper, sealed in a clear plastic sleeve then slipped into a strong all board envelope between two card stiffeners.
Anything larger than A4 will be wrapped in tissue paper then carefully rolled and popped in a very strong postal tube with bubble wrap to fill any gaps and protect the edges.
Framed prints are sent in a sturdy telescopic picture frame box.
Privacy
I Melanie Colletta of Hallelujah Tree am the data-controller of your personal information as it relates to my shop.
When you place an order from me, I will receive your name, delivery address and email address from Etsy. I will only use these details to process and deliver your order, or deal with any queries you have related to that order.
The only circumstances in which I will share your data are in processing your order or complying with the law. I will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose, other than the circumstances listed below, I do not have mailing lists. The circumstances in which I may share your data are:
• With Etsy to comply with my obligations.
• With delivery companies to fulfil your order.
• To comply with legal or tax obligations.
I will retain your details for as long as necessary in order to process the transaction and I will securely store any data collected during that period. I retain personal data related to orders or customer queries for 7 years. After this time I will delete your data from my records.
In the case of custom orders I will retain your records as long as Hallelujah Tree is in business because I offer you the chance to contact me in future years to have additional names added to your family tree and have your tree reprinted or an updated JPEG sent.
If you explicitly ask me to dispose of your details after 7 years I will comply with your request.
I have no access to your payment account details as PayPal or Etsy Payments processes your order, depending on the method you choose. Your information will be stored on the Etsy system as long as I have my store on Etsy or until Etsy deletes it. I will not spam you or solicit you using the information provided to me.
You have the right to know what personal data I hold about you, and to ask for that data to be changed or deleted. You also have the right to complain to the ICO if you believe there is a problem with the way I handle your data.

Frequently asked questions
How do I send you my family names?
You can either list names on your order, send me a separate note via the website or, if you have a file or photograph which you would like to email then please send to mel@hallelujahtree.uk . If you have your family research on a site such as ancestry.com then you have the option of making me a guest on your tree so that I can access the information directly to save you re-inputting.
If I am in a hurry can you send my customised family tree to me for me to print off myself?
Yes, after creation of your tree I can send you a high quality jpeg via Dropbox for you to download and print locally.
I have put together a section 'jpeg only family trees' which offers digital files at a slightly reduced cost (and free of shipping fees).
If the tree you are interested in is not shown in jpeg form just contact me and I will add it.
If you have already purchased a printed version again contact me and I will refund cost of materials and shipping.
What if I want to add new family members to my tree?
Families do change very quickly I have found! Engagements, new babies and suddenly your tree is not quite up to date. You pay once for the tree and then you are very welcome to return to add more family members in the future to any empty branches at no extra cost. I would only ask that you cover the price of materials and postage of the updated print.
Do I see a proof before you print?
Yes, you will see as many proofs as necessary throughout the design process! I'll send a first rough proof as a starting point after adding your names to the tree and then we'll work through as many further proofs as necessary until you give me the final OK to print/send.
Framing
I source frames from a local manufacturer in the UK which are made from sustainable wood sources. Although there are cheaper frames on the market I will only supply good quality frames which I feel do justice to the thought that has gone into the artwork to be displayed.
My frames are for artwork up to 10x12" in size. Due to the high postage costs for anything larger I recommend customers source their own frame if they require a larger print.
