Many thanks for taking the time to check out my shop. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have about my work.

MY PROCESS: When I first began quilting, I tried the standard route: choosing a block pattern, selecting fabrics, cutting the pattern pieces, sewing the blocks, then assembling the quilt top. I soon found this approach unsatisfactory; the finished quilt never had the balance of color and texture I had envisioned. I realized I needed to make my design choices based on the specific fabrics with which I was working, noting the interplay of color, shape, light and texture and letting those relationships guide me through every stage of a quilt’s construction. This approach works very well with many traditional block patterns which can be strip pieced (e.g. Log Cabin), by allowing flexibility at every stage of design and assembly of the quilt top.

Payment
I am happy to accept payment via personal checks, money orders, and Paypal. If purchasing with personal check or money order, I am willing to hold your quilt for one week pending receipt of payment. If paying by personal check, I will also need to wait for your check to clear before shipping your purchase. If you choose to pay via Paypal, I will ship your purchase immediately upon confirmation of payment from Paypal.
Shipping
I prefer to ship domestically via USPS flat rate box with insurance to cover the full purchase price of the quilt. If you are purchasing more than one quilt, I will be happy to coordinate the shipping items together whenever possible.

For shipments outside the US, the cost of shipping will be based on the actual rate by size, weight, and destination.
Refunds and Exchanges
Since you will be purchasing a handmade item based only on seeing a few photos, I will be happy to accept returns for the full purchase price within 15 days of shipment if 1) you pay for the return postage and insurance for the full purchase price, and 2) the quilt is undamaged.
Additional policies and FAQs
NOTE: All of my quilts come with a hanging sleeve hand stitched on the back to permit easy and safe wall display using a dowel or curtain rod (not included).

I do not offer wholesale pricing; my retail price is my only price. Neither do I negotiate prices based on purchase of multiple pieces (though I will coordinate shipment of multiple items to a single address when possible to minimize shipping costs).
