HANAflowerworks is taking a short break
Note from shop owner
The shop name "HANA" can be written in three alternate characters in Japanese, each of which has a different meaning:
・"花" - Flowers
・"華（やか）" - Beautiful, Brilliant, Bright, Gorgeous
・"話（し）" - Story, Conversation
My goal is to make people's life Bright and Beautiful with Flowers and make Brilliant Stories and Conversations between people.
Until now, I have worked as a florist in Tokyo, London and Cambridge for more than 13 years. Consequently I have been exposed to both cultures and styles, which I now combine in my designs; the traditional natural English style merged with the delicate sense and detailed techniques of Japan.
I find preserved flowers to be highly attractive and I am always keen to find and import high quality preserved flowers from all over the world including Japan to be arranged with some English natural dried flowers in my design. It is now my wish to introduce this beautiful medium to England, where I live with my English husband who gives me a helping hand with my business and always encourages me to immerse myself in English culture.
