Helloes! Thank you for visiting Hancock's House of Happy. I am even-star Hancock and this is my work.

You will find functional, fun, and beautiful pieces of heirloom pottery and ceramic art.

Some pieces exude laughter and joy while others offer a contemplative oasis in the hectic desert of every day life.

All my pieces are made by hand in my shed. I fire them in a kiln that sits in the corner of the bedroom.

I believe that buying something that is built to last and will be enjoyed by many generations is important. I also believe that it is important to be happy and to make happy in what ever you do.

I hope you find something here that makes you happy or makes someone you love happy. Making makes me happy!

Payment
Payment is made via paypal and payment must be received before the item is shipped. If you are not able to pay via paypal please contact even-star to discuss options.
Shipping
OK, here is the rather serious official stuff that protects everyone from liability. Now, I am not a lawyer and I can't afford one to write a shipping policy without loopholes.

Maybe it would just be best to say that I am an adult and you (hopefully if you are online with a credit card) are also an adult and let's treat each other like human beings.

So a contract would be something like this:

The seller will do her best to get your order to you in one piece and in a timely fashion.

The buyer won't say the item didn't arrive if is does arrive or that is was broken when it wasn't to get a refund and also keep the arrived-in-one-piece item.

If you need more fine print:

Ceramics and pottery are fragile and the postal services of the world are falible. If something goes wrong just contact me and hopefully we can work it out. Either by claiming on insurance or replacing the item (with ooak items this may not be entirely possible), or issuing a refund.

Orders for physical items with a total item value of more than £20.00 will be shipped recorded delivery within 10 days of notice of purchase. The purchaser will be notified of the receipt of notice via email.

Orders for physical items with a total item value of less than £20.00 or less will be shipped within 10 days of notice of purchase.

The purchaser will be notified when the shipment has been passed over to Royal Mail or other delivery service.

Items will be insured for their value. If damaged in transit proof must be presented for insurance purposes. If items sent via non-recorded delivery fail to arrive the buyer must contact the seller within 30 days of estimated arrival time.

Ceramic and pottery items are fragile and all due care will be taken to pack them securely.

Seller is not responsible for the actions of customs/border officials. If the item(s) is not legal in your country please do not try to purchase it. Item(s) confiscated under these circumstances will not be eligible for a refund. The item(s) may be subject to duty and taxes and the buyer will be responsible for covering these on arrival of the item(s).
Refunds and Exchanges
If the item is damaged in transit then insurance attached to the shipping can be claimed. If the item is lost in transit then insurance attached to the shipping can be claimed.

For uninsured orders (please see shipping policies) please contact the vendor to discuss options.

Once an item is shipped cancellation and/or refund is not possible. Contact me if you need more info on or pictures of an item before you buy it. I am happy to provide what ever you might need to aid you in making your decision.

Should you decide at any time BEFORE an item is shipped that you do not require it any longer please contact me immediately and it can be refunded.

Due to the fact that each item sold is an original and unique, identical replacements are not possible. Similar replacements, where items fit that sort of profile, might be possible.
