Welcome to Handbag Hatchery where you will find quality handmade bags and accessories. We strive to make the best product, and are always evolving toward achieving even better.

All of my bags are handmade by me, and all of the accessory items are made by my best friend, Carol.

You will also find a great line of 100% Cotton fabrics by most of the known fabric manufacturers, that can be purchased by the yard, along with Quilt Tops that are ready for your handquilting or longarm quilting.

Payments are via Paypal or Etsy Direct Checkout. Item must be paid for at time of order.

If you are buying International, please contact me before you pay so that I can give you the correct shipping rate.

Item will be shipped to your Paypal address or your Etsy Direct Checkout address. I will consider checks and money orders, but please be aware that item will not be shipped until check/money order clears my bank.

All packages will be sent with delivery confirmation.

All orders being shipped within the state of Pennsylvanina will be charged 6 % sales tax.

International buyers: Import duties, taxes, and charges (typically collected upon delivery or pickup) are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in the item price or shipping charges.
Items will be shipped within 3 business days of order unless you have been otherwise notified.

We are not responsible for the losses, damages and delays caused by the postal services via state or destination country.

In case of losses, damages and delays, the purchaser must deal directly with shipping vendor, usually USPS. We do not refund for a lost package. USPS will do that, as your items will be insured.

Refunds and Exchanges
Custom Orders:

All custom orders must be pre-paid.

I do not accept returns on a custom order, unless there is a flaw in the item. Please note that each item is photographed inside and out, and very closely inspected before shipping to the customer. Minor threads, or imperfections in the fabric do not count as flaws. We use a lot of batiks. Imperfections, and irregular designs are part of their characteristics.

If you have received your custom order and have decided you don't want it, please realize that when you purchased your item, and paid for it, you automatically agreed to these policies.

I don't accept returns on regular orders unless under these Conditions.

If you purchase an item as a gift for someone and they would rather have something else from my shop, they can send it back to me for shop credit as long as the item has not been used and all tags are still on the item. They can then choose something else from my shop. I will then create a custom reserved listing for the person minus shipping costs and any additional price fees.

If you have an issue with the quality or craftsmanship, you may return the item within 5 days of receipt. Return Shipping Will Be Paid By Buyer. All tags must be on item, and item must be in original condition and not have been used.

Please be aware that photographs are taken of all items we make before we list them.

If I find a large flaw in the item, I will try to repair the item. If repair can not be done, I will either send you a replacement item, give you store credit, or give a refund.

I will not accept returns based on a small thread or minor inperfection in the fabric. Please remember we use a lot of batiks, and some of their characteristics are imperfections, and irregular designs.

Please understand that our products are not made in a factory or on an assembly line. Each bag or item is handcrafted by me or by Carol. We do strive for perfection when producing our craft, but we are not perfect.
Additional policies and FAQs
We try to take photos of the bags as true in terms of colors and appearance as possible to the real bags. Please keep in mind that computer monitors are not the same, so the colors you see might vary according.

Please note that a lot of our fabrics are batiks, which can have irregular designs, and blotches. Bags cannot be refunded because of aesthetic imperfections.

We always try our best to describe the bags and accessories shown in pictures, but if you are unsure please inquire.
