Hello all, and welcome to my shop. My name is Sharon. I am a retired software engineer who loves to craft. I have always had a creative bug, but with working full time and taking care of my family, I did not have much time to craft. After retirement, I was happy to find myself with all this free time. This was my chance to fulfill my crafting bug. At the time my daughter was young and asked me to make her a pony plushie. This is when I bought my first small embroidery machine. This started an opportunity that I could not have imagined. I was ecstatic that I could make some extra spending money by doing something other than writing software. After several years of crafting plush animals, I was able to buy my dream embroidery machine - a Brother Innovis XV8550D. This thing was a monster compared to my previous embroidery machine, and oh so impressive. When the pony making business dried up, I stumbled upon Holly Golightly sleep masks. I said to myself "I could make those", and so here I am. My specialty is Breakfast at Tiffany's inspired sleep masks, and lavender earrings, and ear plugs. Since 2015, I've learned so many tips and tricks to create a beautiful mask. I am constantly improving my techniques. I will change out trims or elastic on occasion if I find my supplier changes the quality of an item. I always try my best to get best materials I am able to find. I am grateful for this etsy community which allows me enjoy my craft and run an online shop. I just recently added another embroidery machine which allows me to continue to work when one machine is out for maintenance.
