Combining my passion for textiles and stained glass

Ever since I can remember I have made things. My mum always kept a 'junk' box full of cereal boxes etc that I used to make things when I was a child.
I studied A level design and then went on to university and trained as a textile designer.

I have taught knitting and crochet for many years and have a passion for making blankets.

More recently I have discovered a love of stained glass. I use inspiration from my textile days to create new designs.

I love making things that are quirky, geeky or a bit unusual and have had many commissions ranging from knitted chinook helicopters to intricate mosaic stained glass pieces.

I love to hear feedback from customers so please leave a comment about your purchase, or contact me directly.

Frequently asked questions
Sizing details

If you require an item in a size other than I have advertised then please message me and I'll do my best to fulfil your request.

Custom and personalised orders

I love creating custom orders. I will work closely with you to ensure that you have the item you are wanting, which will mean you get to agree the design before it goes into production.

Due to the individual nature of these designs they are not refundable or exchangeable. If for any reason there is an issue with your item when you receive it then please get in contact.

On completion of the order I do retain the design rights for the piece and if suitable I may offer it to other customers in the future.

How eco-friendly is your packaging?

I am passionate about using as much in the way of recyclable packaging as possible. All of my stained glass items comes out in cardboard boxes, with corrugated cardboard liners. I use tissue paper as another packaging material on occasion.
I do use bubble wrap. This is for the safe transport of your item. I try however to reuse this from orders that have been sent to me, or by asking friends and family to save any they receive for me. However, some of it is from new sources.
If I use packing peanuts or oversize bubble packaging in your order, this has all come from my suppliers when I have placed orders so I reuse it rather than just ditch it.
I ask that any packaging you receive from me is either recycled or reused again if possible.

Postage

All items are sent out using a tracked/signed for service. This applies to international orders as well.

At the point where your order is sent to you I will send you a shipping message including this tracking number. Clicking on the number will show where your order is in the postal system.

If you are out when the post office in the UK attempts delivery a card is left and you need arrange redelivery or collection from your local sorting office.
Arrangements for customers not living in the UK should contact their mail provider.

If items are returned to me I will contact you in the first instance, you can either repay the postal charges or I will refund the item cost only if you no longer want the item, providing it was not a custom order.

Can you incorporate your designs into window panels?

Unfortunately not. At the present time I only make stained glass items using the Tiffany copper foil method which does not lend itself to windows.

My item has been returned to you by the postal service, what happens next?

One of two things can happen in this instance.

Either you pay the shipping charge again and will get a new tracking number for your order,

Or

You can request a refund for the item (providing it was not a custom order), minus the original shipping charge.

We can discuss these options through the message system Etsy has in place.
