I bought this piece and the "Old Gas Light" sketch, for no other reason than that I simply couldn't resist. I find the style so simple, and the bare minimum of color works to make the work simply elegant. I absolutely love them. I bought these two as gifts for a friend who spent a good deal of time in NYC, but will be unable to go back anytime soon. The artist agreed to send them on to her address, thus saving multiple mailings and more exposure to damage. My friend was very moved when she got them, and as it was such a pleasure to give her lovely artwork. Everything went smoothly from order to receipt of item--no problems here!
