I have always loved creating and making things with my hands, ever since I was a young girl and created things in my grandma's basement while she sewed. I always loved working with beads and making gifts.

In 2007, I learned how to make the Swarovski Crystal Puffed Heart and gave these hearts as gifts to my family and friends for the holidays. The gift receivers began requesting custom orders and inspired me to begin selling my jewelry (then called Jewelry-By-Jill).

For the next six years, I sold to coworkers in the middle school where I worked, to friends of friends in South Florida, and to family and friends back home in Pennsylvania. My jewelry making was a hobby that I enjoyed immensely.

In 2009 I got married and created all the jewelry for my wedding party. In 2011, our lives were blessed beyond words with the birth of our daughter, Charlotte. I left my Kindergarten teaching position to be a full time stay home mama and have never been happier! In 2014, our lives were again blessed when we welcomed our son, TJ, into the world. As any mama knows, you still need to have something for YOU, so I revamped my jewelry business and opened my Etsy store as HandmadeJILLry in 2012.

I truly feel thankful every day that I am able to do what I love and spend my days watching my children and family grow, all while my business grows! Words cannot express how blessed and honored I am to be able to do what I love (make jewelry) in order to be with my inspiration (my children).

I feel fortunate in so many aspects, I try and pay it forward in a small way. EVERY order benefits a charity/cause! Each Month I choose a charity that donations will be made to. Awareness items will ALWAYS donate to whichever cause they represent, but each month I donate a portion of the sales from all other JILLry to a charity/business of my choosing. ♥ Have a cause/charity you'd like me to possibly donate to one month?
