About handmadephilosophy

Sales 256
On Etsy since 2011

I grew up watching my aunts sewing, creating clothes and accessories. I thought that was amazing! But they never taught me how to sew, and I grew up without knowing.
In 2011, when I moved to Philadelphia I felt I needed to follow my dreams. So I bought a sewing machine without knowing how to sew. I was determined to learn and make things to sell on Etsy.
In February 2012 I listed my first item on Handmade Philosophy. Since then I've been learning more and creating more. In 2014 I created my first pattern and since then I use my own patterns and artworks to create the products that I sell in my shop. Right after that, I added my illustrations to my list of products. I offer not only one of a kind handmade products, but Glicée prints and original art as well.

Additional policies and FAQs
I want my shop to be plastic-free, however I still have some packing material that is made of plastic that I'm still using for orders. In the near future, all packing will be paper or compostable material.
I'd like to remind you that all my products are handmade by me. Although I give my best to make them as perfect as possible, sometimes there are minor imperfections. I believe that the allure of handmade products is that they are unique. Each of them carry a singular story about how they were made and the difficulties in the process of their creation.
