Welcome to Handmade With Dove!
My name is Joanne Stonebraker, and I am addicted to greeting cards. This is something I inherited from my Grandma, along with her antique writing desk. I was forced to start making my own cards after banning myself from buying cards, because I was buying more cards than I could send and running out of room to store them all. Now that I have started making my own cards, I am running into the same problem. Selling my cards seemed like a reasonable solution. I chose the name “Handmade With Dove” because my dog, Dove, tends to hang out with me while I make cards. It sounds like “handmade with love,” but it’s my dog’s name instead, get it? It’s as adorable as my cards are, which is why it was the only idea for a name that I came up with.
