Pottery is one of the oldest industries in the world. As long as people have been cooking and eating, as long as they have had access to mud, and as soon as it was discovered that fire can transform mud into something more stable, people have been making functional pottery and ceramics. I've been making pots for a decade as a serious hobby, crafting dishes and vessels for my family. It's a tradition that has been passed down through generations (thanks, grandma), but the pandemic pushed me into the business of pottery. So, Hand Slow Pottery, as a business, is relatively new, starting in 2023, but it is also timeless, as I only make slight variations on forms that have been made for millennia. I create rustic, timeless, functional pottery and ceramic housewares for a slow, simple, handmade life. I hope you can feel the history, earth, and humanity when you hold my pieces. And I hope you enjoy the experience.

I ship a couple of times a week, so there may be a delay of a few days before yours is in the mail. Also, I am not set up to provide exchanges or returns, but please message me if you have any issues with your pieces, and we'll get it sorted out. Be aware that each and every piece is individually handmade and will have textures and shapes that reflect the uniqueness of the natural materials and handcrafting they embody. Photos and measurements are unique to each and every piece, so take a good look at all the angles before making a decision.
