It Started With A Slip of The Tongue

I've always liked to make things. Ever since I was little, I was either cutting up paper, knotting strings, or doodling with crayons. Scores and scores of creations came from my nimble little fingers.

My problem came when I needed to store these creations. I would cram them into drawers and boxes. They mostly fit. However, I did have another issue: the cost. I made so many things that I couldn't even give them away. So I tried to sell them.

My first ever sale was in my college dorm room as a freshman. I would sell my "Handmade Handicrafts" (they were mostly bracelets at the time) to my floormates for cheap. They were happy, I was happy.

One day I was selling some "Handmade Handicrafts" when my speech slipped. I had just called my work "Handycrap." My floormates thought it was great. The name stuck.

In 2007, I was turned on to Etsy. I'm not really sure how. By spring of 2008, I was registered as an Etsy seller. After nearly six years, a bachelors degree, and over 250 sales later, I'm happy to have introduced my Handycrap to the world.

A jack of all trades and master of none in many ways. I have a tendency to try anything once. I'm creative by nature. Wether it's for work or for fun, if it's a project, I usually want to tackle it.

Hey There!

I'm a quirky lady who spends more time using Excel than is good for me. Etsy is what I use to help fund my creative endeavors and help to preserve my sanity.

I love to create. Generally I'm more of a visual arts person but I will try any medium once. I enjoy starting with materials and making them into something beautiful.

I accept purchase payments via PayPal and Etsy's direct checkout (includes Etsy gift cards).

All sales are final. If there is a problem with your order, please contact me immediately. I will address product concerns on a case-by-case basis.
I ship within three (3) business days.

Typically, I do not include an invoice or a packing slip in shipped orders, because Etsy allows you to access to your past purchase details. If you would like a packing slip or invoice, please let me know at checkout.

I normally ship USPS First Class Mail. However, if your order's total for shipping is high enough to ship Priority Flat Rate, I will. This should get your order to you faster and in the long run usually ends up saving us both money.

If you would prefer Priority mail or any other special shipping services, convo me BEFORE you purchase an item and I will create a custom listing with adjusted shipping rates.

If you have a significant shipping overage (greater than $2), I round to the nearest dollar and refund the difference.

PLEASE NOTE: The price that I charge for shipping includes postage AND shipping supplies (mailers, envelopes, padding, etc). Because I add in the cost of shipping supplies to the shipping price, I can keep the prices of items in my shop lower.
Refunds and Exchanges
If ANYTHING is wrong with your order please convo me so we can work out a solution for you. All product issues are handled on a case-by-case basis.

I want all of my buyers to have stress-free transactions with my shop.
Additional policies and FAQs
One of the major components for seed bombs is seeds. Currently, seed bomb listings are only set up to ship to Canada and the US. If you live outside of these countries and are interested in purchasing some seed bombs please convo me so I can check into whether or not your country will allow plant materials, determine shipping cost, etc.

ALSO: because the component that makes seed bombs grow is seeds, there is a little bit of planning required on the user's part. Climate, environment and weather conditions are all factors when trying to get your seed bombs to grow. The only thing I can guarantee is that I use real seeds for the specified plant purchased and that my process for making seed bombs has allowed seeds to sprout. You may have to provide additional nurturing for some seed bomb varieties. I am happy to give you any tips or advice for planting in your climate so that you can get the best results. Please convo me if you have any questions.

I am no longer able to take custom orders.
