About

We are Just Two Sisters...

HannaMari Creates came about through the ideas of two sisters: Hannah and Marion who love art and love implementing them in everyday fashion. African designs & ankara print have been a part of their wardrobes since the days of mommy sewing their cute little dresses.

The inspiration they get from their african culture and from art gave them the idea to merge the two together to create unique fashion pieces and home decor.

Check out our creations and find the perfect gift for your loved ones, family, friends & most importantly, you!!

With our help and your incredible fashion sense, you will certainly make your own statement wherever you go!!

*** THE HISTORY OF ANKARA (African print) ***
Ankara was formerly known as Dutch wax print. It was originally manufactured by the Dutch for the Indonesian textile market. But, by mistake or design, these prints garnered significantly more interest in West African than in Indonesia. Recognizing this opportunity, the Dutch decided to focus on West Africa. As such, the prints changed to reflect African culture and lifestyle more. African print was henceforth born.
