That is our motto here at Happy Fantastic Designs. While I have been making and selling art and my crafty creations since I was 5 years old Happy Fantastic Designs started out as a hobby business and I have been a bonafide business here in the green mountain state of Vermont since 2007.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
All sales from Happy Fantastic Designs are final. Sadly, this means no returns. While I wish this was not so, I am a small business who is donating a large percentage of my online profits to a charity. That means that I just cannot afford the cost associated with handling returns at this time.

If you are willing to pay additional shipping costs I may consider an exchange if the item has been unused or unworn and you notify me within 7 business days of receiving your purchase. If you can meet me at one of my shows in the Burlington, VT area I would be more than happy to arrange a swap for the cost of the item you are exchanging -- please e-mail me if you are planning on doing this. Unfortunately, I am not able to refund the original shipping cost.

I am not always able to provide tracking information. If you would like tracking info please indicate this in the comments box. I only reimburse buyers if there is no USPS record of the item arriving. So I highly suggest that you request tracking for the added security of knowing that your Happy Fantastic goodies DO arrive safe and sound on your doorstep.

I will also provide a FULL reimbursement if I am unable to provide the item you requested. While this seldom happens, I also sell some of the items available in my online shop at the art shows I do. That means that there is a slight chance that if you purchase a Happy Fantastic one-of-a-kind item on a day I am away at a show and bring the item with me to the show and I sell it at the show, I will not be able to sell it to you. If this does happen, I will do everything I can to create a special Happy Fantastic item just for you. But I will also offer you the option of canceling the sale and providing a full reimbursement. Lastly, Happy Fantastic Designs reserves the right to refuse service to anyone or to cancel a sale.
Payment
The easiest + safest way of payment for your Happy Fantastic goodies is by PayPal or credit card. Please note: all payments must be made within 24 hours of ordering the item. If you are ordering clothing, please make sure that you have indicated the size and/or color you would like. If you forget, that may delay the shipment of your order.
Shipping
I ship most items USPS First Class Mail or Priority Mail within 3 days of receiving your order. Please contact me about other shipping options. To be honest, I have found that shipping with USPS Mail is usually the safest and least expensive way to go. My shipping costs do not include insurance, so please contact me if you would like insurance.

HOLIDAY SHIPPING: I will do everything in my power to get you your gift in time. U.S. customers in the lower 48 states, please order by December 18th so that your item will arrive in time for Christmas. Please be aware that snowstorms can delay the mail so consider ordering sooner than later to play it safe. My art studio is in Vermont, so if you are in a nearby state (e.g., NY, NH, MA, RI, CT, ME), your order may only need 1-2 days to reach you and might get to you in time if you order after Dec 18. Contact me if you have any questions.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: I do my best to accommodate international customers, but to be honest sometimes the shipping costs are more than the cost of your Happy Fantastic item. Please be aware that the costs I will quote you are the costs given to me by the US postal offices. These items need to go out as international mail which means that I cannot offer delivery confirmation or other safeguards. That also means that if your item does not arrive I am unable to reimburse you. So it is a chance you need to consider. Most international orders arrive within 2-3 weeks. However, during the November and December holiday season, the customs office can get backed up so please plan accordingly.

GIFTS: Yes! I am more than happy to ship an item to a gift recipients address. In the comments box please indicate that this is a gift and the name and address of the recipient as well as a short gift message. I can also wrap up your Happy Fantastic present all super cute and include a message on a card for you.

All items are made in a strict non-smoking home studio. :)

RETAIL/WHOLESALE INFO: By all means please contact me about wholesale prices. My wholesale prices are determined based upon the quantity of the items you would like to order. Essentially, the more you want to buy the more reasonable a deal I can give you. Unless you are a retail store located in the Burlington, VT area, I tend to shy away from selling my work on consignment as it is too costly to arrange the shipping. Most of the items that I sell online and at my art shows are set at a price that is in between my suggested retail price and my wholesale price. The reason why I do this is that while there is overhead associated with selling online and at shows (e.g., vendor fees, transaction fees, display costs, etc.) these costs are not as large as someone who is running a retail store. In a retail store the extra bit you are paying goes to things like your easy access to a store, excellent sales help, ability to shop more frequently, and for a greater selection of hours.

CUSTOM ORDERS: Are welcome, but please be aware that these orders usually take extra time and will cost extra to accommodate the extra time spent on custom work. That being said, I do my best to help keep the cost down on custom work. For example, for custom items in which I have all the materials in stock (e.g., silk-screened baby onesies and child tees or dog collars) I usually do not charge an extra fee and I can usually send out these items at my normal shipping rates + time frames.
