Announcement    Keys of a lost paradise or a well earned hell ?
Life, love and death seems inseparable, I want to celebrate something that once lived and passed on. An attempt to catch the fleeting beauty of life.
Out of sometimes cruel silhouettes, my creations transfer expressions of a soft aggressiveness, but always reveals itself soothing on the skin, like their vibrations could insufflate an elusive energy, reminding us the magic from which we all descend.

The thorny side of life

My name is Mireille Boucher, the founder and designer of Harakiri.
Harakiri is a seven years old, Montreal based, hand made jewellery line for man and woman.

After my studies at “L’école de joaillerie de Montreal”, Harakiri soon got notice by the local press and the media.
I accessorized fashion shows of upcoming designers, including Complexgeometries and Denis Gagnon’s show FW06, FW08, SS09, FW09, and SS10
The harakiri brand had ongoing collaborations on seasonal collection with complex geometries.

Over the years, Harakiri jewellery as been captured by the lens of talented photographers and as been featured in trendy magazines and webzines such as Malibu, Interview, AnOther and a fabulous feature on Diane Pernet’ s blog “a shaded view on fashion” written by the talented “ Ana Finel Honigman

Locally, Harakiri is being sold in the high-end Montreal stores Reborn, Michel Brisson, Denis Gagnon and Billie.
It is also available on the official harakiri site
www.harakiridesign.com and Not just a label, a British shop on line attached to a repertory of international artists and designers.

Harakiri as helped in many causes trough the years.
I created and donated unique pieces for fundraisers such as
“Breast yourself” foundation for breast cancer, “Fara” foundation for aids and Maat, a fundraiser based on social equity, for witch I also created designs that are sold on their website.
Harakiri is in a continual artistic evolution and refinement. I love high quality goods. I noticed my creations are becoming more and more refined with time. The quality is increasing and so as my experience. I always want to make jewellery that you can pass on to your children. My designs are for those who are able to perceive all the magnificent detail in quality craftsmanship they want jewellery that is timeless, unique and extremely well made. They aren’t afraid of accessories that have a strong statement.
