5 out of 5 starsIt's a beautiful mix of ancient and contemporary. Reminds me of gothic cathedrals in a futuristic landscape. Love the cool feeling of it and it's not heavy. Some part of me wishes it had an apocalyptic spin and didn't look so regal, but I enjoy that it catches the light in the dark. If H.R Giger and Rene Lalique had a child, it would definitely be you! I don’t recall much of my childhood, but I remember the burning soil of my parents’ backyard, the hot, humid summer air in the countryside, the flakes of glittering sun scattered across the ocean, the butterflies and lizards crawling over my skin during long afternoons when I used to wander alone by the coastline. Childhood was my playground of wilderness and it would remain so in the life to come.
My childhood was very tactile. Country living required hands on experiences, which meant getting cut, burned, scraped, bit, splintered and smashed. You learn quite quickly what you can and can't touch, do or manipulate when faced with the consequences.
My dad was always tinkering with or building things and giving me something to do. Touching things allows me to understand. A lot of information is taken in by touch. My mother always told me to look with my eyes and not with my hands. She says to believe it you must see it.
But a memory that sticks out to me is one of playing with a razor blade. I sensed how sharp a razor blade was and I touched it anyway just to feel the surface. The surface feels rigid but sleek and smooth. I cut of some layers of skin and it stung like hell. I knew this but did it anyway and found myself bleeding and shivering with awe.
I am interested in moments of transformation within precious objects that are bridging the gaps between who we are when we are vulnerable and who we are when we are unbreakable. Fascination with nature as a source of complexity, curiosity and cruelty, as well as its fragility and sublime beauty, is conveyed in analytical, intimate and expressive art form.
Each of these approaches is completely embodied in jewelry collections creating both the fetish and artifact portraying the shadow creatures that inhabit this space. The creatures are transformed and given a new life as the objects of astonishment.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Harem Royal does not take responsibility for lost or damaged packages that are shipped back. All undamaged, correctly returned products will be credited to the original purchaser's Pay Pal account. As previously stated, international customs duties are non- refundable. Purchase price will be refunded minus shipping costs and 15% for handling and restocking. Once the refund has been completed Harem Royal will send a confirmation via e-mail.
Please note that exclusive and one of a kind pieces are items that has been delivered only by FedEx postal courier. These items are not eligible for refund. Because of hygiene we consider all earring(s) items final sales and product under the discount are final sales. The products that have been customized in any way are also final sales.

Our exclusive and unique pieces require special attention. That's what we call a premium service. We deliver them with super fast & safe shipping using FedEx Express services. It takes only 2-4 business days for our products to arrive anywhere in the world. If you order until 1 p.m. Central European Time (London, Paris, Milano) on the business day the package will be shipped on the same day if the items are in stock.
Parcels will need to be signed for in person. In the event that no one is available to receive an item, FedEx Express Mail will leave a card with details so that you can either arrange another delivery date or to collect your parcel from your local FedEx office. Please also note that any duty and taxes incurred in the country of destination are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend that you check import duties and fees in your country.

The organic materials are sourced from ethical outlets, keeping things as eco friendly and sustainable as possible. All of the real butterflies and moth have been raised on natural cruelty free tropical farms around the world. These educational farms, aviaries and co-ops provide a real source of income for native people who would otherwise have to sell trees off of their land or raise cattle which are both ecologically disastrous. Tropical insects are important members of these fragile ecosystems. If their natural habitats are allowed to disappear, they too will vanish forever.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY JEWELRY?
Harem Royal gold designs begin with recycled copper as base metal and then are twice dipped in the absolute finest 24 karat gold for a thicker coat. It is a great alternative to solid gold. Prices are according to market value and subject to change. It is always advisable to avoid wearing jewelry when doing manual labor, cleaning, doing exercise or playing sports. Please don’t sleep in your jewelry, as it is extremely complex and it will only compromise its strength and structure. Think of it an elaborate piece of art impersonating as jewelry.
Silver and copper naturally tarnish over time, so don’t be alarmed when you notice this. A quick swipe with the cloth is all you need. The natural oils from your skin and hair, direct sunlight, and the simple elements in the air we breathe are accountable for this phenomenon. Be sure to keep this away from water and humidity.
Keep in mind that a slow lightening of the gold will occur over time. It needs only a light polish, Harem Royal suggests a gold polishing cloth. Be gentle when polishing gold-plated jewelry, a rigorous polish will fade the gold as it is rubbed off. Some materials darken, some lighten, and some keep content with just how they are. It’s a fact of life.
