I'm sorry you were dissatisfied with your purchase. The item I made for you used exactly the same pattern and paper that was described in the listing. The photo of the window star in the listing is just like the window star I sent to you with the bright afternoon sun shining through it. The brighter the sunlight - the more translucent the star. The cost for a handmade product includes the supplies; my time for creating the window star and going to the post office to ship the item; shipping materials; and postage. I believe it is a fair price considering all these factors. Many people do make the window stars themselves and I would encourage you to do that if that is of interest. It's a fun and enjoyable craft; and supplies and patterns are readily accessible.
