Announcement   Welcome to harvest woods!

I've been making and selling diploma frames for the past 15 years. Working in my shop just outside of Buffalo NY, I am proud to say I have sold over 1000 frames during that time. Currently, my frames can be found in 38 US States, Canada, Germany and Sweden.

All of the diploma frames you see here are made by me, by hand.

Each handmade frame goes through 10 individual steps taking it from raw lumber to the beautiful finished product you see. Each has a unique grain pattern, color and natural markings - literally making each frame - a one-of-a-kind.

Every Frame is made of high end SOLID woods like Cherry, Walnut and Mahogany and very soon I will introduce hard to find exotic woods like Wenge, Bubinga, Sapele as well unique domestic woods like Birdseye Maple, Tiger Maple, and Curly Cherry.

These are not the kind of mass produced diploma frames found in college bookstores or by doing a simple search on-line.

They are beautiful handmade, unique, high end frames that I invest a lot of time and attention to detail on.

All frames come with UV Glass, mat color(s) of your choice, hanging hardware and a fool proof system to easily mount your diploma straight and with ease on the very first try.

Shipping is included within the 48 contiguous states. Contact me for details outside of the 48 states.

If you are interested in having a frame (or frames) custom made, just reach out to me.

Pleae keep in mind, because I make them by hand from raw lumber, custom orders take some time. I'll give you an approximate time-line based on what you would like and the number of orders ahead of you.

Most times, orders can be shipped within 4 weeks or less from the order date.

If warmth, style and craftsmanship are important to you, you'll love harvest woods.

About

The gift that keeps on giving!

I didn't really intend to focus so much on making picture frames when I started woodworking again in 2002. I had made a few frames and gave a few of them away as gifts to some friends.

That was all it took.

Suddenly, people were asking me to make custom frames for them and, stranger still, they offered me money to do it!!

That's really how making frames began to take over most of my free time. I have sold over 1000 frames since then.

As the years have passed, my passion for working with wood and creating frames touched with the beautiful hand of Mother Nature, has only gown.

There are many picture framers out there who do amazing work. The one thing that sets me apart from many of them is that I actually create my own molding,

I start with the raw lumber and mill it into the moldings I use. In addition, my frames are not made of unknown hardwoods like most of the pre-made moldings out there.

I use solid woods like cherry, walnut, mahogany and maple just to name a few. Because I create my own molding, I offer superior hand made frames to the mass produced factory frames.

Lastly, because I have perfectionist tendencies :), I will discard a frame and start over if it is not perfect in every way.

Because of that, I have full confidence that every diploma frame I sell will be enjoyed by buyers who feel like they got more than they paid for.

I have also created a website dedicated to making picture frames so others can learn, save some money and create beautiful gifts for their friends and families.

The link to that site is under the Related Links heading, below my picture. Check-it out and let me know if you have any suggestions for things you would like to see it cover!

But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
I'm very confident that you will be happy with your frame so I offer full refunds for 14 days from delivery date, including the cost of return shipping.

If you have any concerns about your purchase please contact me right away. My goal is to make you happy.

Occasionally, I offer "Less than Perfect" frames. They have minor defects and the frame will be reduced accordingly. I always provide pictures of the defects so you know what you are getting before buying.

I accept Paypal, credit card payments through ETSY as well as ETSY gift cards.

I also accept Bitcoin and Ethereum at a discounted rate for those who use this form of payment. Please contact me for details on paying with either.

By the way - you don't have to have a Paypal account to make a payment through Paypal. You can pay with a debit or credit card and not worry about having to open an account with them.
Shipping
Items purchased right out of the shop will be shipped in 1 business day unless there is some unforeseen reason for delay - for example; weather conditions ( I live in Buffalo NY!) or an issue related to the carrier. I will notify you immediately if there is any reason for delay.

Requests for custom color mats in any frame available in the shop may add and additional day onto shipping, if I don't have the color(s) you are requesting on hand. I will let you know if that's the case.

I use Fed Ex in most cases and have included the shipping right into the cost for items shipped within the 48 contiguous States.

See shipping rates for orders to other countries: I use USPS International for items being shipped out of the U.S. They take 6-10 business days for delivery. If you would like to upgrade to a faster delivery service an option to do so will be provided in the listing.

Each item I ship is carefully wrapped and packed by me to ensure a safe journey.

I will provide a tracking number once your item is shipped.
Additional policies and FAQs
I welcome all inquiries about custom frames. I do more custom work than standard sized frame work, so I am up for the challenge. Feel free to e-mail with questions about wood types, designs, mat colors and sizes (or if you just need a mat only) and finishes.

If you have an interest in wholesale purchases feel free to contact me. This is also an area I am interested in exploring.
